There's a tool for it but I don't have one. I've had good results with boiling water, just pour it over the hose for a little bit and it'll soften up.

If it's ever that stuck for me I tend to cut it off the hard line and replace the fuel hose from the hard line, but I'm a little pedantic with things like that.

Twisting with pliers, works for me, but has the potential to damage the hose. Just bought 25' of Gates barricade through Amazon for 90AUD inc delivery, I was surprised how quickly it came too, only 2 weeks, also surprised to see it had a manufacture date of 2017.

Cool thats exactly what i need. Supercheap has them as "Toledo Fuel / Vacuum Line Pliers - 301173" for $24.
