Turbo conversion for r34 na

Recommended Posts

Hey blokes i have a imported 2001 r34 rb25de neo 130,000kms, i cant part with it and ive come to the decision i want to turbo it instead of buying a gtt. ( i know alot of you will be against that [emoji23])

I got a quote from 999 auto to do the conversion,

I want your opinions on wether that is too much for the neo engine because i was hoping to get it a bit cheaper flog the neo and end up buying a 25/26 or hopefully 26 in the long run and put in it, is the neo going to push much more power after sinking that much into it?

Any advice is greatly apreciated [emoji16]

12k lmao f**k that.

Take a quick look at the RB25DE+T threads here;

That would be an "ok" bunch of parts on a DET engine.. however with a DE+T engine with that setup and you've got a fireball on your hands.

Literally buy stock DET parts from facebook/forum and slap them on. Or sell and buy GTT as suggested :)

To be honest, the quote he has been given isn't really that bad. The cost would be similar to take a GTT and take it to what is essentially a GTX3071 -320kw style build.

It is a very expensive exercise.
You will almost certainly blow the NA engine at that point too. GTT engine would likely be ok.

Put a V8 into it instead :P
