Nissan GTR 2012 sticky on the reverse.

Hi all

I recently purchased a 2012 GTR with 26k kms.

On the reverse the car feels sticky and I have to accelerate harder to move when turning the wheels. Feels that the rear diff locks when on reverse?

Is that how it supposed to be or there is something wrong?

Car is custom tuned with cobb access port.

Thanks

This is normal, you can actual switch to 2wd maneuver mode by holding down the "SAVE or SNOW" button for 3-4 seconds, this puts the car into RWD maneuver mode for tight turns and reversing

    Congrats on the purchase!!!

I'm doing my research as I intend to get a 2011+ model. What checks did you get done to the car before purchasing it.

Thanks mate. Sorry for the delay on replying. Look for a 2012+ as they are better value for money. Do all the checks that you would do before buying a car. Check the bell housing for any rattles and TBH take it to a Nissan dealer for inspection to plug it to Consult 3.

Good luck if you haven't bought one yet!

This is normal when they're started whilst cold. You'll notice it goes away after the oils warm up. As stated above the "save" mode also helps :)
