Converting a Gt-v into a 25gtt

I know it's probs been covered already but I haven't come across anything to do with converting a gtv.

I have a 2000 25gt-v (essentially a turbod car, just without the turbo engine) what will I need to convert it into a 25gtt? Obviously the engine, but I'm not sure if I'll need a new gearbox etc...

You need the big box. The Rb20 box won't hack it for long - especially if you up the power levels.

Well you asked the question. I believe your car has the RB20 sized box not the RB25 big box that the GTT etc have.

Sell gtv and buy gtt. Easiest way to do it. Will save you a heap of work and part sourcing, be a better overall car and be more valuable. To convert your gtv properly will probably cost you more in the long run.

I can get everything quite easily, and iv got the labour to do it. I just need to know exactly what il need. Don't really care about the dash and interior at the moment. Just the mechanics I need to know.

But usually engine, gearbox, tailshaft, maybe diff, wiring for engine.

 

BTW you can run the N/A box behind the turbo engine, just have to be gentle haha.
