Stock is staggered....

225/50/18 front 7.5" wide wheel

245/45/18 rear  8.5" wide wheel

Thats just for the SP.I believe.

NB 225/50 weird size, actually calculates to a slightly larger rolling diametre than the rears.

stock staggered size on the V35 is 225/45/18 front and 245/45/18 rear.  Rim specs are the same all round.

I had these on my sedan, but changed to 245/45/18 all round which looks fine.

I guess that doesn't help with how it looks on a V36 though..

S and SP have the same tyre sizes as they are both on 18's. The P runs 17's with 225/55 all round.

That weird 225/50 is why so many of us, me included, run 245/45 all round..

So what you really want is a set of 370Z 19's with the matching brakes.... That will give you some definite stagger...

245/40/19 9" wide

275/35/19 10" wide...

Have you had any issues with ABS or VDC or even scrubbing the suspension by changing the size of the front tyres?

Out of curiosity what tyres are you running ?

245/45 fit fine, no errors with lights or tyre scrubbing.. All just works as it should. Nitto Motivos, but will most likely change to Nitto Invo soon...

Yes indeedey... Was a very common thing when I got the car due to very very limited selection of 225/50 18 tyre choices...

My 245/45 look a bit 'balloony' slightly outside the rim. N.B. Old School G35 wheels on my 2007 V36 skyline..Pirelli Dragon Sport.

Kind of surprised that the idea of any tyre protruding past the rim looks 'balloony'.

Personally, I would prefer some protrusion so the tyres are first to touch a gutter rather than the rim, but then again, I don't like the stretched look. :)

Heres our new car, we are first Aussie owners.
Car came with theses wheels, looks like 9x18 front, 10x18 rear with 245/40 fronts, and 275/40 rears, looks cool.
These Nankang tyres  are hard as, so be getting replacements soon.
