R34 gtr stock front mount intercooler limit

Hi everyone, very new to this page and new the the skyline scene got my dream car after wanting one for a number of years anyway I'm not to sure if this has been covered before but with the stock front mount intercooler on the r34 gtr I was wondering if anyone knew how good they actually are ? I have heard a few stories of people reaching 400rwkw on them? What's everyone's thoughts thanks

Their limit is 300kw atw. When I had my tuned that was its limit anything more and cooling wasn't efficient

I've had -7's, injectors, fuel pump,. exhaust, intake, haltek 2500 - basically all bolt on mods minus the cooler. If you are chasing more than 300kw then get aftermarket

What are the IATs like?

Swap out the cooler and it will make more power and if there isn't any compensation on the IAT it will also show slightly leaner mixture denoting a cooler charge temp.

General question: You can make 400kW+ on these stock coolers, but are you making that power efficiently?

Well stock would be fine if you're chemically cooling your IAT with water and/or meth.
