R34 What’s this Cord? Where does it connect?

Hey guys my speedo is not working sits on 0 then when going around 60 goes to 20 

 

not sure what this cable is and where it connects

I'm pretty sure that's the internal temp sensor for the climate control.  Sucks air in through the front.  It is wired up as per what you'd expect.

As above, that should line up with the little 3 slits on the lower dash panel near your left knee if you're in the drivers seat (from memory)

shouldn't really affect your speedo reading in any way

Connects to the back of the instrument cluster trim, the front of the trim should have some slits to allow air to be sucked in
