Cam gear problem

cam gear won’t line up cam comes out 20mm and inner of the gear is 28mm

What's on the floor??? Have you mixed up old 30 gear with your 25 stuff??

Just other gears I’ve had. They are the same. Only thing I can think is that the cam gear is wrong but I thought they where all the same

Backing plate is not fitted either it would be even worse!!

Took that off just so I could measure how far. It’s like the cam is missing 8mm in length

The top one is a the RB25 the bottom one is RB30. the extra offset is pretty obvious

The extra offset is around 7.5mm

I’ll have a look but the exhaust gear looks fine it’s more the inlet gear not being able to slide on to the pin that comes out off the cam

The exhaust gear looks like its hitting the cover??

The exhaust gear is different then an rb30 just checked with a spare motor I have.

It’s going to hit the cover as well not sure if it will push back when the the cam cover goes on

I would check it against an RB25 one then , just trying to help mate. Did you paint the Pushy to match the engine or the other way round??

Pushy is pretty close to the car color.

Are you putting it on backwards

It looks right the little plate can only go on one side of the exhaust cam gear.

The inlet cam doesn't seem to be out long enough for the pin to be able to slide in to inlet cam gear
