Turbo Oil return hose setup

Recommended Posts

So I just want to be cautious and be sure my oil return hose is up to the task with heat from the turbo and manifold

ive used a basic fitting/flange at the turbo with a screw on an fitting and vibrant brand braided hose which is rated to 300 degrees Fahrenheit down to another screw on fitting into the block

sound ok? Or Should I consider extending the return fitting in solid pipe 6 inches away from the turbo then the braided fitting?

It’s a 6 boost 3076 rb25 setup

300°F is nothing.

Just throw a heat resistant sleeve over it and forget about it.

Yeh that was my other thinking. I’m aware 300 isn’t a lot hence my concern

I’ll look into heat sleeve
