Newbie to this forums but need 1989 S13 ADvice

Hello my name is Hartley i ma from South Australia And i am currently in Year 11 working 2 jobs and Studding a Crt 2 in Auto motive Trade and servicing through TAFE 

I have just Purchased a 1989 Nissan Silvia with a 1.8 CA18DE, for $5300. Since purchase we have found out that there is problems with wiring on the night of the purchase we noticed that there were many switches underneath the searing wheal right near the fuses. With all our checks and looks we believe that due to the Doors dropping it has short circuited something but we are not sure Looking for Help.

I think you're going to need to be more specific with the problems and your suspicions. Eg, why did the doors drop? What do the switches look like? What are the actual problems experienced?

Follow the wiring and disconnect unnecessary stuff. My guess is the switches were for neon/LED lights.

Yea i think you may be correct, There is a Viper security system inside. But i dont think the alarm is the problem. I will have a look and try disconnected everything that  is not necessary.
