I have done it to a perfectly running engine. To be honest I wouldn't do that again. There is a gain no doubt but to pull apart something that is working fine is a bit silly. I would Reccomended just giving it to the current engine and building something later if required.

If your engine is still healthy, you may as well have some fun with her while shes running good. That being said, i gave up trying to break my 25 and went ahead with the conversion. I still drive 25s, but they don't interest me very much. I'm in the process of upgrading my 30 to a 34.

I did mine when the 25 broke a piston. With 350RWKW from a Neo I would not be inclined to pull it out. For street use the extra torque of the bigger block is great but as they say if it ain't broke don't fix it.

The RB3025 neo is a totally different beast to a 25.  The part throttle torque on the street, the early spool and the sound of it is awesome.  Id never leave it 25 again, i find a 25 too lazy.
