nsw/act  1993 R32 GTST Skyline (READ FULLY)

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

It’s with great devastation and sadness that I put up what was my shortest owned vehicle. I had been looking for close to a year for a S13, 180sx or R32 GTS-T that ticked all my boxes and expectations. On December 1st 2019 I saw this car pop up on FB and I think the sale process took close to an hour including travel. Out of all the vehicles I went to inspect this was ‘The One’. Immediately purchased by my wife as a Christmas gift, it felt like the stars had aligned and all my dreams and hopes for a ‘Weekender’ were coming to fruition. 2 days into ownership the previous owner advised that there was an EPA letter mailed to him due to some KJ reporting the car in his ownership. So on the 4th day of ownership I set out to plumb back the BOV and look at quietening the exhaust/car overall. Post mechanic check whilst 5mins away from home, our lovely current windy city and a faulty bonnet latch blew the bonnet open and thus smashed the windshield and ruined the bonnet. A week later I have bought the car back from insurance and decided to cut our losses and continue the hunt for a replacement.
