DIY V36 Splitter.

Thought id share my first experience making my first DIY splitter.

Im pretty happy with how it turned out to be honest. Didnt want to pay $400 + for one to be supplied from china/japan/usa so i took on the task myself

Tools used -

Jigsaw - Sander - Drill - Sharpie

Material/Cost

Aligloss (bunnings supply) $75

ebay 200mm Splitter rods $20

Time

2-2.5 Hours.

Only thing left to do is go to clark rubber and pick up some U Channel rubber edging/Weathering Strip to make sure it doesnt cut anyone haha.

Very cool! How did you attach it underneath? I will be interested to hear an update the first time you scrape it on something and see if it hold up. With the amount of potholes and spoon drains here in SA it would last about a week on my car

its attached to the stock mounting holes underneath for the under tray plastic
I scrape on my driveway anyway. doesnt do much to it. It can flex with enough pressure (cant flex with hands, thats how much pressure)
without a doubt though like any aftermarket splitter it'll obtain damage. im not worried about it in the slightest because you cant see any of it.
