r32 dome light wont turn on

So my dome light is not turning on when i open my driver side door, but it does turn on when i open my passenger side door

So, check the drivers side switch, assuming you forgot to type the bit where you are asking for help.

Otherwise if that is just a statement that didn't require any response please accept my sincere apologies. I'm not a mind reader or at least not that I know of.

yeah so iv have pressed the switch under the door latch and nothing happens but the passenger side one is working fine. i think this door has been taken off before is there a plug somewhere that they might have forgot to plug in?

"Check the switch" does not mean "give it a poke". It means "disassemble it and work out why it not joining wire A to wire B".
