r34 gtr front diffuser replacement

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

My diffuser (not genuine, carbon fibre, came with the car when it bought it, I don't even like the carbon fibre look) is completely smashed.

Whats the difference between a genuine front diffuser compared to, lets say a JSAI front diffuser (fibreglass)?

Is the genuine more durable compared to the fibreglass one?

Trying to justify if it's worth buying a genuine diffuser.

Also, out of curiosity, what diffuser do you guys run? Genuine or a copy?

Thanks in advance guys!

OEM is PUR or ABS (or whatever plastic they used), so much more resilient to impacts, etc than any FR material.

Also should be cheaper, because injection moulded in bulk. But, now that you're talking about 20 years of warehousing, plus GTR tax, etc, you want, you pay.

Wishful thinking brother, still available BUT, USD1300 +freight, that's not GTR tax, that's bend over the table and take it like a man tax

Wishful thinking only based on the relative costs of fabrication method. Sarcasm/irony was fully embedded in post.
