2008 Infiniti G37

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys,

I am thinking of buying a nice 2008 infiniti G37 with 108,000kms on the clock here in Sydney. Its in great condition. Any ideas roughly what these are worth now on average? Struggling to find the right info and comparison as theres not many kicking about here. Thanks!

Hard to say with limited info, Being a 2008 it will be a 370gt Skyline and either 5AT or 6MT.

Is it a Base model, Type S/P or even SP?

Generally before covid you could get a 370gt type S Or SP with similar kms for around 12-15k.
These days generally around 17k.

Thanks for the reply. Its 5AT and a G37S. Are they exactly the same as the 370Gt skylines inside and out?

I have also seen a 370gt Skyline 2007 for sale. Would there be any differences apart from the badge?

I believe the badging has caught ya ha ha!

Australia never got a 5AT G37. We only had the later models prior to a q60 which had the 7AT. Just means youre looking at a skyline (The exact same car really, just ones in english)

Alot of people put infiniti badges on it and try sell it as a "G37"

Do you have any photos so we can see which model it is? Another easy way to tell is does it have Akebono brakes?

Nah mate definitely a skyline not a g37.

The dead give-away there is not only the year but also a few things in the engine bay. Especially the Nissan engine cover. Infiniti ones have the infiniti logo.

It has Akebono brakes, so highly likely it is a Japanese 370GT. Are the buttons on the centre console/under the screen in Japanese? I bet they are. If so, it is a Jap import Skyline, not an Infiniti. But people love chucking the badges on.

FYI generally speaking an actual Aus delivered G37 (one of which I own) is worth $7k-$10k more, as it has Australian sales history, is unlikely to be wound back (well less likely than a Jp 370GT, which are routinely wound back), has Australian buttons and stereo (which means you can actually use them here), most (if not all) have cruise control, and various other things. The Jp 370GTs do have Akebono brakes (which are superior), 360 cameras (the ADM version has reversing only), and a few other little things different.

We also never got the g37 In 08. All aus delivered g37s/q60 have a different interior to the one pictured.

I found it on FB market place. Another run of the mill skyline with infiniti badges haha.

Wow glad i posted this. So how much would a 2007/8 370gts Skyline on average be worth now?

I saw another one with the actual skyline badge for 17k, it had a few mods - exhaust system, tinted windows, dyno tune.

The one with the infiniti badge i was looking at has the side and reverse camera, proximity fob, and the standard electric seats etc.

I do love how they come with performance and luxury.

I would use Japanese history checker if it was worth getting one.

funny thing with badges, Americans find it 'cool' to put Nissan/Skyline badges on their Infinitis, here people like to put Infiniti badges on their V35/V36 Skylines.

I don't think there was such a thing as a genuine RHD 2008 G37 anywhere..  could be wrong though..

In Sydney I’ve found two auto skyline 370 GTS. Both have over 100 kms, I’ll do a history check. Any ideas how much these are worth roughly?

I’ll be keen to do some cosmetic mods as well. Anyone know of any good specialist in NSW? Thanks for the help guys.

its hard to say these days, Pricing has been strange lately.
After owning one with similar kms i wouldnt spend more than 14-15k on an early model.
Rather spend 17-20k on the newer model with nicer interior or even an aus delivered v36 Q60.

But an ADM G37/Q60 is more like $25k, if you can find one. Still, well worth the extra money IMHO for the working/English stereo and navi, cheaper insurance, cruise control, dual seat memory, self-cleaning/levelling headlights, and various other nice touches that the ADM G37/Q60 has.

Yea would look at newer models. I want one in black but really hard to find any of these cars now. Hardly any used cars out there like there used to be prior to covid.

Talked to an importer recently he claimed we did get RHD G37’s at one point but only for a limited a time early on and in a small amount. I don’t think this is true but thought I’d put it out there. It’s pretty easy to tell if it’s a mock-up though. I don’t see why you would though, I wouldnt want the Infiniti badges instead doesn’t even make sense

As for OP around 12-14k is a decent buy price for that year with those kms.
