M35 Stagea Oil Filter Change Interval

I noticed that the service sticker on the bonnet reccomends to change the oil every 5000km's which i've done with both oil and filter though it says that you can change the oil filter every 10000km's, getting two changes out of it. Now i've always been under the impression that you should change your filter at every oil change. Should i follow the manufacturers specifications or should i stick with changing the filter every 5000kms?

Who the f**k changes oil in a Stagea at 5k intervals? Just do them both at 10k intervals and win at life. My Neo RB25 is lucky if I get around to it at 12k intervals (ie, annually).

I sure change the oil in my stagea at 5000klm...but it has a bit more whoosh than stock.

But yes, for more daily use I would (and do) change oil and filter at 10,000

I change the oil and filter in my fg xr6 turbo every 5000km, ive always thought to change it earlier in turbo cars as they wear out the oil faster, want the best oil flow i can get and less oil sludge. The fg is tuned to 304rwkw though, i'll see how i get away with it in the stag though ive noticed the oil gets dirty really quick compared to other cars ive owned.

M35 Stageas have small oil feed holes.... 

They are renowned for turbo failure...and turbo replacement isn't fun on these cars..

I think this is why they recommend oil change every 5000klm

I had the feed holes enlarged..
