V35 Won't Start after radio removal?

Hi guys,

I replaced my broken factory radio with a replacement double din fascia.

When I went to start the car afterwards It wouldn't start. All the lights flash repeatedly and it doesn't seem to crank. Wipers also go off even though they aren't set of.

Tried jumpstarting but it made no difference.

The timing is probably a coincidence, but is there anything that I could have messed up when taking out the radio?

Otherwise it seems to me like it's probably starter motor related.

On the plus side, my aircon now works.

That looks like a really dead battery. Do you have a multimeter to check the voltage between the battery terminals with the car off? If it is good, I'd be looking for bad earth or main power connections from the battery

Check the battery terminals. May have a loose cable or corrosion buildup

In the end, It jumped the day after and has been running fine since.

Not sure what happened given I basically did nothing and it fixed itself.
