3d printing

Recommended Posts

Not sure if this is the right forum...

Is anyone on here into 3d printing at all?

I have a small job I want to get done, and could go to a commercial business, but would prefer a skyline person cos they would know what the part is for etc.  And I know its not for free, thats fine.

    • Yeah gen2 6466 1.0 a/r results from Morpowa's Mainline Prohub dyno, printout posted in the other build thead and 26 results thread. I know Precision power ratings are to be taken with a grain of salt, with the gen2 6466 is indicated at being 900hp rated. The 6266 gen1 vs gen2 power ratings are 735 vs 800hp so really sort of approximating estimates.
    • With >600kw from the 6466 I'm guessing that's a hub dyno, in which case I'd say your goals seem super realistic.  I'm kinda hoping to see mid 500kw area without being silly on the Gen2 a bit with E85 on the hub dyno I use and 400kw easily on 98ron.   I'm not 100% sure about the Gen1s as the 6466s really overshadowed the hell out of them when they came out (and lets be real, the 6466s were basically a game changer when they came out and are still not easy to beat in terms of how flexible they are in terms of power, response and what they work on) but I doubt there is THAT much difference so again, feels like the numbers should be realistic.
    • Are you sure? Both my mates have 1.5way Nismos in their S15s   Here's a 1.5way for a R33 Skyline https://otakugarage.com.au/product/nismo-gt-1-5-way-lsd-38420-rs015-b/ https://nismodirect.com/nismo-gt-lsd-1-5-way-ecr33-nissan-skyline-gts-t-38420-rs015-b/
    • There is no 1.5 way nismo. There is a 2 way nismo and a 1 way nismo. The "1.5" one is the 1 way nismo. This is much better on the road than a 2 way nismo. See above.
    • After ripping off the HKS turbo on my 2.8 blue 32 and going with the 6466 I was astounded by the overall improvement everywhere in the power curve and peak power. Considering that 6466 on my 2.8 is over 450kw at 22psi on 98ron and over 600kw at 32psi on E85, I would expect the 6266 on the 2.6 to be maybe 400kw on 98ron and 500kw on E85 at similar boost levels. Sound around the ballpark ?
