Redline shockproof out breather

Has anyone had issues with redline shockproof coming out of the gearbox breather hose ?

 

how did you guys solve the issue, any way to stop this happening or should I try different oil

Is the transmission overfilled? Get the car level on jackstands and open the fill plug to see if oil comes out. Doing a search it seems like this is not an uncommon problem:

Smurf jizz always does this. Just extend the breather all the way up the firewall. Gives it enough length for the foam to build and subside without reaching the top.

Does this actualy work Or will it creep up and spray jizz all over the bay lol

Works on my car and every other R3x I've seen it done on (more than 10).

I run the stuff, have extended breathers and don't have any issues.

But I would still double check it is not overfilled, and how did you fill it in the first place?

What I have seen is some billet sandwich plates have a very compromised breather system (dunno if you’ve got one)

Wasn’t over filled

and I drained 500ml and it still did it 

 

I’m in the process of flushing the shockproof out and will put royal purple max gear in and see how it goes

Hey mate 

yeh I run a os giken billet sandwhixh plate, funnily enough issue started when that got installed and fresh redline shockproof proof, changing oil as it’s the easiest thing to do and go from there

Run the line to a small catch can is the easiest way
