turbo scare

i was just driving home from a bit of late night shopping and on the way home given it a bit of throttle when there was a woosh and then the car ran really rough until i just made it round a corner and it cut out.

i thought maybe i had blown my turbo because of the roughness. when i opened the bonnet (to my relief) i noticed the pipe with my blow off valve had come lose. (the bov i was tinkering with a few days ago).

so out came the trusty tools and a few min later im on my way again.

this has happened a few times before (in 180's etc) but normally there car cuts out straight away, so im guessing that becuase the pipe wasnt completely seperated from its place enough air was getting in to run like a dog with no front legs

Try blowing your IC piping off after you've been playing with it..

(Forgot to tighten up the compressor to FMIC rubber hose)
