Sau ( Wa Section) Rules 2009

SAU (WA) RULES 2009

These rules shall come into effect on November 17, 2009

Section 1

General Rules:

(a) While debating and discussion is OK and adds to the community, treat all members with respect and courtesy - We will ban any member(s) who make personal attacks, threats or mistreats any other member in anyway (discretion is up to the moderator/administrator at the time of the offence)

(b) Please refrain from posting meaningless threads, one word (or short) non-sense posts.

( c ) No Spamming - This includes useless posts to increase postcount, mass PM's and any mass advertising. If you wish to chat, use the WT thread in the wasteland.

(d) Discussion of illegal activities such as Street Racing, Piracy/Warez and other intellectual property violations are not allowed.

(e) No Porn, No full or partial nudity allowed. Please remember that people browse these forums from work or at home with young family members and please be considerate when posting pictures, links or other digital media. This is up to a moderators discretion, if you dont think they will approve then dont post it.

(f) Each member is allowed one login account. Registering with multiple accounts prohibited.

(g) If you wish to find out:

(i) Where to service your vehicle;

(ii) Where to get vehicle repairs including smash repairs and paint work;

(iii) What business has spare parts/accessories for your vehicle;

(iv) What business can build your engine and/or tune your vehicle; and/or

(v) Where to have modifications done to your vehicle

Any thread that asks questions that are the same or similar to the details listed in the abovementioned list [section G (i) (ii)(iii) (iv) (v) ]- will be closed without notice.

(h) If you have questions relating to:

(i) Vehicle Regulations;

(ii) Licence and Permit information; and/or

(iii) Road Traffic laws

If you make a thread with questions that can be answered by reviewing the information linked in the abovementioned thread - then your thread will be closed without notice.

If you've searched through the abovementioned thread and have questions relating to information given in the links then feel free to post about it. However, provide a reference to the section in question so that others can answer your question properly.

Section 2

Detailed Rules:

(a) Exercise common sense and be considerate toward your fellow users. Diversity of opinion and intelligent civil discourse is encouraged; by the same token, insults and "flaming" are not tolerated. Disagreeing with an idea of another community member is different from attacking that individual.

(b) Do not post off-topic. Please keep your comments consistent with the subject and purpose of the conversation thread. Deliberate disruption -- such as consistent off-topic and/or frivolous commentary -- will not be tolerated such posts will be deleted. If you wish to chat, use the WT thread in the wasteland.

( c ) You alone are responsible for the material you post. You will not knowingly post content or links to content that is libellous, defamatory, offensive, obscene, racist, abusive, that violates a third party's right to privacy, or that is otherwise inappropriate.

Section 3

The Rights of the SAU (WA) Moderator/Administrator Team:

(a) We shall have the right, but not the obligation, to monitor the content of the forums to determine compliance with all sections of this Agreement and any other operating rules established by us.

(b) We shall have the right in our sole discretion to edit, refuse to post, remove, or otherwise alter any material submitted to or posted on the forums. Without limiting the foregoing.

( c) We shall have the right to remove any material that we, in our sole discretion, find to be in violation of this agreement or inappropriate for any reason whatever without consent.

(d) We further reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to remove a user's privilege to post content in our discussion forums. Suspended members who re-register with new accounts will have those accounts deactivated without notice. Repeated attempts will result in our contacting your ISP with a complaint.

Please makes you read and understand these rules, if you have any questions please PM one of the moderators or admin and we will answer you. It is up to you to make sure you have read and understood the rules - it is not a defence to plead ignorance.
