Assuming BNR32, roll the rear guards, roll the front guards. Will most likely rub the plastic inner liner on the front (depending on wheel alignment and height).

I have 275/35 RS-3 on 10" +20 (want to go 285 next time). The front tyres will try to make room :P

So you don't think i'd get away with not rolling the guards at all? Pending which alignment/camber i go? Car won't be too low either about 140mm from the ground

When I had 265 on the wheels, they rubbed on the rear but the front just got away with 'rounded' tyres. But I bought a guard roller and heat gun to roll my self, wasn't hard.

Cambers are (approximately) -1.5° rear and -2.5° front. I think my caster is a bit high (6°-ish), which is probably why it was rubbing on the plastic liner.

Here is my R33 Skyline GTS-t with 18" Enkei RPF1

Front 18X9.5 + 15. 235 tyre with -3 degrees of camber

Rear 18x10 + 38 (5mm spacer) 265 tyre with -2 degrees of camber.

I could just squeeze my fingernail under the rear guard

Not sure if anyone reads this page much these days ?

I want to change my wheels on my r33 gts-t above.  You can see at the back with 10+38 (plus a 5mm spacer) with a 265, I still have bit of room to play with using the -2 negative camber.  I would like maximum width at the back - would like a 275 or 285 ideally.  If i go 10.5 at the rear would i need to keep it around +35 to +40 to fit a 275 or 285 tyre  ?

Why don't you put 275 or 285 on the 10" wheel?

If i keep the wheels i will go 275 or 285, Ive had the wheels a few years now and wanted to get a different wheel so was looking around the 10.5 +40 range.  Not having much luck, most wheel offsets seem to be +22 in the 10.5 which i dont' reckon i would get a 275 or 285 tyre on ? I would have to prob stretch a 245 or something to make it fit...

R33 GTR, planning on putting some 18x10.5 +12. Will be lowered, but not much. Used mainly for pleasure, no racing or track. Don't want to roll fenders. Want to put some 285s but I'm not sure if they will rub. 285 30s? 275 35? Any help will be appreciated.

So I ended up going TE37 RT 18x10.5 +15 .. Will be running -3.5 Camber at the front and -2.0 / -2.5 at the rear and not modifying the guards (Weekend/track car)

I thought my -2.5° up front was heaps lol.

It will be completely functional and not for "stance" crap.. It's more so that I don't want to roll guards, If i can get away with less neg camber then I will.

Does anyone know how to measure up guards from the brakes to the lip to work out custom sizes?

Ive got some rocket bunny fenders coming across and im going to fit the to my 32 gtst.  so i cant see what others have got and go from there. the rims im looking at i can choose from anywhere from 18×7.0 to 8×11.5 and offsets avaliable from the high positives to the high negatives.

Is there any how to or what not, to measuring up the guards?

And will i get more dish by going 11 say -15 or 10 - 40

10 - 40.

which is about 167mm of dish compared to 155mm for 11 - 15.

something like that

Check with GReddy or whoever you're getting them from, they usually give a guide of what size wheel
