i just spoke to justjap and they said that when the club gets up and runing they will offer discount prices for club members

can someone follow this up and make it official

I dont know if we can offer a free membership to anybody tho, we are all out of pocket so far for what we have done and there is a LOT MORE yet to pay for, so once we cover costs there wont be much left i fear.

Just an idea, I'm more than happy to pump out designs for the fun of it, and Ryan looks like he enjoys coming up with his creations ..... Maybe a competition where the prize is that of the global recognition recieved if your work is used ?

i think most people would be glad to pay a membership fee (donation) to keep the club up and running it will also help to find out who is serious about helping and who isnt

and those who want to help get rewarded by membership related discounts and bonuses etc

i reckon it will be good incentive to help club members work together

A paid for membership is also going to get the people who really want whats best for the club.

I like the idea of Just Jap coming along for the ride. One of the more decent and helpful workshops around thats for sure.

Non Profit organisation and paid memberships dont go hand in hand...

Paid membership = revenue which with the numbers will possibly mean profit which is not allowed.

Doing it like that would require a registered business to be setup.

The registered business is being setup as we speak, we will have an abn and several bank accounts. There will be charges to becme a member with several advantages.

I am quite good friends with Mark up at hills so i will hit him up for sponsorship.

they're straight up membership fees. all the money raised will go back into the club for events, shirts, newsletters, hosting, accounting fees etc etc.

no profit will be made as all the money will go back into the club. this is the basic definition of a non-profit organisation.

Yeh, address not good Nice design though. What about a design in portrait aswell as landscape ? We could have them like passes instead of cards ... then all we need is some bands with metal bits on the end and clear plastic sleeve ID holders ...

Anyone working in an environment which requires security passes should know what I'm talking about.

They're easy to wear and more stylin than a card ....
