  1. Checking timing Hey guys sorry bit of a noob question but am i suppose to take the timing belt cover off that the cas is attached to to check timing with a timing light? I can see the marks on the pulley but not the ones that are on the belt.
  2. Oh ye sorry it has a map sensor and some kind of boost controller that goes with the link holset hx35 turbo still have to see what fuel pump I got I think it would be a walbro 500hp if not I'm definitely going to get one also got new iridium plugs when it got the tune gapped to 0.7
  3. Hi so about a month and a half ago my r34 just died on me and couldn't start it up again. Checked all the basics and then took it to a couple of mechanics and found one of the wires to do with the coils was shorting and kept blowing the fuse. So got that fixed and also put anew coilpack loom in cause some of the connectors were broken. Now after I got the car back it feels like it has lost some power or lost its tune and it was also misfiring pretty bad at high boost/ high revs. I put some liquid tape and taped up the boots around the coil packs and that managed to fix the misfiring but that when I realised it definitley feels like it has less power then before. I have a boost dial which goes from 0.8 bar to 1.1 bar and it still runs and holds boost fine when I change it but it's most noticeable when I put it to 1.1 bar. And i think it runs a lot richer as it backfires on gear changes a lot more and uses up way more fuel. i feel like the timing may have been messed up cause the other mechanic took the cas off and also unplugged the ecu while they were trying to fix the other problem. I haven't had a chance to check it yet but I should also add I have a link G4 Ecu that was tuned about 4 months ago. So it may have been set up differently to the factory timing settings. But from looking at the cas it looks like they marked it and put it back to where it was. The other thing I was going to check is the fuel pump cause the mechanic reckons it may need replacing cause it wasn't pumping enough fuel. Any help would be appreciated I ve been reading a lot of other posts with similar problems. But with all the different mods I guess it could complicate things. I'm still learning so am a bit of a novice but would like to try and fix myself as I used up most of my money on the first problem lol. Hopefully can avoid getting another tune as well.
  4. Looking for 20 inverted wheel nuts that are for volk gt-c rims with a 1.25 thread to suit a Nissan. Or if anyone knows where I can buy some for cheap. I'm from New Zealand. They look like this.
