  1. I did have -5's, I was looking at getting a T51R or T04Z. If they are that bad I will just sell them and go for a big single.
  2. I swapped my 2860's for the 2540's as the 2860's ran out of puff at the top end. It's a weekend car so not bothered about a bit of lag. The 2860's are really responsive but having more lag doesn't bother me. I'm looking to get 700bhp out of them if possible.
  3. Has anyone got these on a standard bore GTR running all the bolt ons with cams and a single TB plenum?? What power are you getting out of them at roughly 1.5 bar, and whats the spool like?
  4. Got a Pair for sale Got 2000 to 2500 miles on them, bought from turbo dynamics. Come with turbo dynamics acuators that run 1Bar, these turbos can run 1.8Bar. Also have dump pipes and downpipe to match £1200 for them both Selling to go for a big single. Great street turbos and I ran 11.6 with these with a shit 1.9 60FT time. Easy 10sec turbos. Located in the UK, all postage to be paid to AU. Might do a deal on a Big single
  5. Wheres the cheapest place to get an RB26 balancer??? I want one.
  6. Going for 730-750bhp. Will be running either a T04Z or a Garrett GT40 turbo. Will I be needing a 44mm wastegate?? Anyone ran a 60mm wastegate before???
  7. The turbos are spoken for at the moment. They are -5's.
  8. Going single and dumping my 2860's. Was going to go for an HKS T04Z, but looking at the Garrett site I have got my eye on a GT40R Now: Will a GT4088R flow 730-750BHP or will it run out of Puff, since it is rated at 700max. Or will I have to go for a GT4094R? I might end up going GT4088R, to keep lag down as this should be a quicker car with this turbo instead of th 94R running an extra 30-50 bhp. I know you can push the HKS T04Z past 700BHP, so is it worth spending the extra on it or getting the Garrett GT40 and saving a load of money???
  9. Its fine, every turbo I have had in the past has had this, I have had loads of turbos, around 15 and each one has a little ground out like that.

  11. I chanegd the oil and the magent was full of bits, the front diff is clicking on full lock turns now. Time for a new one me thinks before it pops.
  12. I have searched on 3 or 4 skyline forums and cant find the answer to my question so hopefully someone can help on here. In 1st 2nd 3rd 4th gear drives fine no noise. In 5th gear there is a loudish whine from either the front diff or the transfer box, sounds more like the front diff. Right heres the funny thing. In RWD it never makes the noise, it only makes the noise when load is being transfered to the front wheels. And only does it in 5th gear when power is being transmitted to the front, i.e accelerating (gently or hard) Any other gear it doesn't do it, no matter what load is applied.
