  1. Thanks for the feedback guys. From the consult cable i get correct readings so it is something to do with the cluster. I put it all back together and the dash seems to be intermittently fixed (Sometimes the tacho will go a bit crazy and stay past 9000rpm). If i hit the dash, sometimes it will go back to normal, i did a search and it seems like a common issue. So i will have a better look at the connections when i get a chance. at least the speedo etc is working so i can driver the car in the meantime.
  2. Update: I had my dash completely out and only my cluster plugged in and read somewhere here that the hazard light switch needed to be plugged in for the indicators to work so plugged this in and the indicators are working ok. It was to late to test what speed and rpm values i was getting from the ecu but will look at that tomorrow. If all is ok from the ecu then would it appear that my cluster is bad?
  3. Cheers mate, I had a play around with it today and i found an exposed wire coming from one of plugs on the gearbox touching the chassis (I changed the clutched recently). This stopped it from blowing the meter fuse. However now the indicators still wont work and my speedo and rpm tacho are functioning very erratically or sometimes not at all. Ill try get my consult cable working to see if the ecu is showing the correct values. I fell like my cluster might have been damages when it shorted. Im not too sure about the indicators though.
  4. Hey guys I'm looking for an auto electrician in Sydney to find out why the 10A meters dash fuse on my r33 gtst keeps blowing when ignition turned to the on position. I can still start the car but the dash doesn't show any inputs but if i turn the lights on the dash lights turn on so it is getting power. I also lose indicators, but they work when unlocking the car and i see them flash on the dash. I have searched for any wires that may have been exposed and touching the chassis but no luck. Any suggestions on where to look would be great or Im happy to take it somewhere preferably someone who knows there way around a skyline. Any suggestions for a mobile auto electrician or a shop in Sydney would be great Thanks in advance.
