  3. nah dude, bolted them straight in and got them dialed in to the specs sure cams gave me. it was easy as the engine was out of the car!
  4. 252@50"lift inlet 263@50"lift exhaust Peak inlet lift 0.36126 Peak exhaust lift 0.33638
  5. hey dude, when we built my 30/25 and used an aspirated head we used the aspirated cams and made 465bhp on 27psi but with a massive drop off top end! So we got hold of a set of 26 cams and had them ground by sure cams so as we could still use hydraulic lifters and also used adjustable cam gears and made 602bhp pump fuel with 29psi. all with standard inlet, throttle body..... (basiclly a completely standard head with cams and camgears)!! pm me if u want any info... nath

Would be a good night if we can get a good turn out, hopefully a bit of friendly competion!! Cheers Nath
  7. First tune: Very much identical to SKY30 in everyway, except for extractors and external gate,252 duration cams and adjustable cam gears, made 470rwhp on 15psi on pump fuel run in tune, Second tune: 602bhp or 450rwkw on 29psi pump tollulene mix. Replacing clutch atm ,as it shat itself on the second and third run. 449.7rwkw/602bhp chart
  8. it may not need to be that low but as it is my daily driving car on pump fuel with no additives it suits my purpose and i still have full boost by 3000rpm! and i have a mate of mine with a vl that had 9.5:1 c/r making 400bhp on 22psi and he melted 2 pistons as apposed to any mate of mine that has the exact same setup except he was running 7.8:1 c/r making 412bhp on 26psi and hasn't had a drama so imo i'd rather be on the safer side rather than pushing it to the brink! But that's just me
  9. yeh dude i know the feeling well!!!! i went through 4 of them! 2 with the 20 and 2 with the 30 then i finally got sick of forking out the cash 4 the shit boxes and bought a 25det one and i gotta sa man i should have done it a long time ago coz it is sooooooooooooo worth it!!!!!
  10. why do you want to run such a high C/R anyway? sacrificing reliabilty, my motor is 30/25 i have a C/R of 7:1 as it allows me to run higher boost and then bring my to4e66 turbo into range(round 25psi) allowing it to make good power. 480bhp with standard manifold, standard cams and stock camgears! The bathurst sierra cosworths ran 5:1 C/R allowing it to run up to 45psi boost to bring the turbos into range!
