  2. just noticed this on a mates car,it is mapped and runs ok except for hunting on idle.looked at the comander display and everythin is working ok sensors and moniter all perfect. the ignoition map reads 0 in all boxes and the fuel map has 50 in all boxes,also injector correction is on 0% and same for the injector lag time.how can this be running without any probs??

  4. ive got a jun carbon bonnet and a pair of wide carbon fenders on my 32gtr,looks good but upclose the weave is different,funny thing is the carbon items weigh more than the stock gtr alloy stuff

  9. i hav'nt got any probs with sk like i said he has always been very helpfull,hi is the man to ask for all your needs and if he said it would take this long to build a engine fair enough. and i know what its like to be moaned at and hassled by whinging poms i live with them, and i must admit it can make me take my time or fit another job in in front of them,but even i would sort it eventualy
  10. so in austrailia you give someone $5000 deposit for a 6to8 week engine build,and just wait over 11months for any news,i dont think so. i havnt hassled or moaned at gary about this matter until now all in all ive sent him 5 pm's since march 2006
  11. ive dealt with gary on a few occasions and found him very helpfull,his advice has always been spot on, and he has always replied to my pm's.this is prob the main reason i went ahead with this engine build with him,i would not have just picked a engine builder at random and sent my hard earned money to anyone. in the end i want the best engine i can get for my money and this was it, in the uk 11 months ago rb30 engines were not available, a freind of mine is now building his own,cp pistons,spool rods,crank collar,n1 pump,water pump and all the other parts are now ordered and paid for.he has the 4wd sum adapter under way and picks up his old rb30 block next saturday,will prob be built within a month. even if mine is ready now and shipped its going to be over a month before it gets here,do i start my own build?will i get my money back? i want to know whats going on with them. i would rather this be seen in a open forum so all can see any replies,it's not like i am the only in this situation
  12. i'm also waiting for one of sk engines and it also been 10 months wait, i'm stuck for words about the matter,i know things happen that you cant control during a engine build but 10 months for a bottom end build.
  13. just found a r32gtr box thats broke 3rd gear,will remove all the parts and give that a try,not done it before but have got the manual to hand(and a big hammer) will post up later how it all goeas
  14. i removed all the extra pipes as i have bled them before and they can be a pain,so i have run one pipe from the master to the slave and defo has no air in it,just looking for a broke 32gtr box to pull all parts off and try on the 33, with the ats twin.
  15. hope you lot can help with this prob ive got.i'm fitting a ats carbon twin plate to a r33gtr,clutch was dropped off with the car all looked ok,at the time i wasnt told that you needed to fit parts from a r32 to convert to push.i had a os giken conversion and thought it would do the job,but no you cant even get the box on with the ats and the os conversion kit.the pivot bracket hits the pressure plate and it just dont fit. the clutch that was removed was finnished and so decided to fit my own giken triple off my 32 with the conversion kit and at least it will be back on the road,but now after removing all the excess pipes from the 33 and just having one pipe from clutch master to slave and bleeding it all it still dont work properly,the conversion kit has a adjustable rod and if adjusted as you would normaly it does'nt disengage clutch and no gears can be engaged,if you wind out the rod you can get gears but when driven clutch slips. its like the slave cyl has air in it and has'nt enough travel. any ideas to help with this prob????? oh and the os clutch was out of my 32 and worked with no probs. thanks
