  1. Hi Guys,

I have bought a Momo Millenium Sport 350 steering wheel and a HKB boss kit with Hicass plugin. But i can't workout what goes where i know i have to disable the airbag light (oh its a r33 95 series 1.5). If anybody out there can give me a hand or a DIY with pics or something i will not have a problem doing it.

    Thanks

  3. Thats is a werid problem i just got my R34 GT-T and there is no light problems with it. Mine is a 98 GT-T, most times they come from Japan with Xeon Units and they are not allowed in Australia because they have auto focusing. For example the ones on Mercs and BMW are manual in the since that you can control the beams.

Iam fairly intested in this problem, tell me how it goes.

  4. Prestige is more expensive i beleive cause you should really be able to get one as allbitz says for aound the 26-27 mark under 100k in good condition grade 4 or 3.5 with interior B with no damage but the colour will prolly have to be a grey or white ordinary colours. If you really want to save money get a semi automatic one instead of manual or go for 4 door GT-T that still has the RB25DET engine.

  5. Hi reggin,

Well i just got my r34 GT-T this one is going to be my third skyline first one was a 95 GTS-T 1.5 r33 2nd one was a 96 r33 series 2 and now a r34 GT-T all up i think this car will cost me around the 26k mark not 100% sure atm but i truely beleive if your going to come into the world of skylines get a turbo version. They are much more fun i'd recommend J-spec but i imported this one all myslef with help from friends but if this is your first import go with j-spec and ask for either Ben or Grath (spell).

Should have my r34 on road in two weeks its in compliance work shop atm.

  6. 8. Hi Guys..............I imported my R33 GTS-T 95 model and a couple things went missing the boost guage and the gear knob............thankfully the stero system and headunit were still there but yeah i went via Kiwi at the moment still waiting for a response to my claim............get all the auctions reports and make sure you know what is in your car take pictures if you can or get the people over seas to scan it and send it to you...........but yes whafies have very very sticky fingers and 9/10 something is missing. Hope this helps Good luck to ya mate. Oh in the event that there is damage on your car that wasn't there orginally you have to get two quotes and send it to Kiwi carriers and they will send the money to the cheapest quote and your car will get fixed...............thank god mine didn't have any damage..............but get those auction reports ASAP.

  9. Hello,

I went through J-Spec. Ben was my dealer there. Before you start you should really work out how much money you want to play with and let them know, if you going for a r33 gts-t your looking at 4500 just for compliance and the car itself depending on the K's series etc. Best thing is try them to look for stocko's as the compliance shop will rip the mods t of the car and return it to stocko. Also J-Spec have the cheapest fee's its 500 dollars up front and 500 at the end thats the only fee's they have for the broker, other fee's are FOB costs getting is complianced, registered, roadworthy and the Boat people fee's.

But i would highly recommend J-Spec.

  10. Just wondering what mods must be made to a R33 GTST (series 2 96) in the compliance process?

My car will be complied in the next few weeks.

Hi, Thats what happening to my skyline as well but mines is a 95 GST-T series 1.5 yes a series 1.5, They put rods in the doors, replace the seatbelts and basicly do everything to get it to "Stock" standards, so mags go, if you have a exhaust like mine does that goes, additional boost gauges, temp guages and oil guages go, mine has all that, also i have a momo leather steering wheel in it aswell that goes but i was lucky as i was supplied with a orginal steering wheel.

Ok differance between series 1 and series 1.5, basicly 2 things, the wing series 1.5 comes with almost a GTR wing but smaller not rounded like normal series 1 and it comes with Airbags standard. Also another way of telling is the VIN number anything that starts with a 05 or above means its a series 1.5 until it goes to series 2 which is very very easy to tell.

    Hope this helps you.
