  1. hi, i am wondering if anyone can help me with a problem that i have encounted after installing my whiteline sway bars on my 35. my settings are number 2 on the rear and number 3 on the front, problem is now when i turn its harder to turn which i expected a little but it doesnt turn back, it seems to get stuck somehow. has this happened to anyone else?? can anyone please help me on a solution for this?

    thankyou,

    Ben

    Hi,

can you contact us direct here Email me as we can reply faster.

It is true stiffening the front will make more understeer and may not turn in as well but should not affect steering return or get stuck anywhere.

We have not in any past sales heard anything like this but if you contact us direct we will endevour to solve any issues you are experiences.

  2. Wanted to know if it worth while upgrading to a stock 27mm R33 gtr rear sway bar on my C35 laurel which i assumes carries the same bar stock as the R33gtst....I'll measure it to confirm but its visually much smaller than the gtr one.

I dont have access to whiteline or any other fancy brands so this is pretty much my only option so i just want to know what adv / disadv will i notice particularly if the car will still be predictable as its strictly for the road,... it also has a 1way mech. diff and 255rwkw, rwd obviously

    Hi,

We are not sure wher you measured from but a GTR rear bar is not 27mm.

The usual upgrade there is that the GTR is solid VS the hollow rear but they are the same diameter from what we know of and no where near 27mm.

We have dealers and Suppliers all over the world so if you click dealers on top of the page of our website My link you will find one near you and we have a list of rear bars that will suite you well and you will easy have access to them. If not email us at Email me

Also if you look around there are many sponsored traders on here that sell Whiteline products you could purchase through

  3. Keen! Put me down for a set.

    Does this include links/mounts?

    Hi There,

These are bars only with our bushes as we went 32mm from the OE bush will not work.

Rear Links are available now and have been the whole time they are KLC141 sold seperate.

Front links you retain and at this stage with the unusual design no one has worked out a new style for them in fath that they will be as strong as factory. If sales of NM35 parts go well I am sure in the future these can be looked at to match the bars we sell if enough do sell

  4. Hi,

From what we have always been aware of is that all stagea had sway bars from factory and we list the C34 on our website the rear bar is the same as R33 Skyline rear GTST Or GTR and have sold many for the RWD it is only the front bar that has to be R33 GTST as the GTR bar is different and smaller due to the AWD.

If you want more information email us [email protected] or Phone 1300 882 355

  5. Hi Guys ,

We have fitted sway bars to the R+D stagea of Julius(paramour) and after a test drive the feeling was they are a huge difference making the wagon feel more like a lighter sedan. We do think that some neg camber on the front would help for better turn in but that will add some slightly extra tyre wear but if you guys want that idea for track etc we thought we would let you know.

Here are some pictures of the bar fitted and shows the new bush on the OE bracket at the front plus out new gold alloy lateral locks that stop sideways movement(they all come with bar ).The rear pictures show the bar with new d- bushes and saddles (they come with bar) and the new rear links that can be bought separate.

  6. Hi Guys,

Just to let you know we stopped making springs and shocks etc. about 3 years ago so you may have to look into some where else for those sorry.

Also we do not even make a strut brace for the 350z ,r35 gtr, v35 so chances are we will not be able to make one for the stagea at this stage.

  7. G'day guyz. I just got myself an ARX 2001 yesterday. Seems like the sway bar upgrade is inevidable, so count me in if it's about sway bars, links & mounts. One question though... From previous posts and comparing stock sway bar from my mate's v35 looks like rear sway bar on my ARX is identical to v35/z350. He ordered his aftermarket one from USA for about 150 incl. delivery. My question is why people buy Selby's rear bars for almost double the price? Sorry if the matter has been discussed befor and I missed it. Cheers.

Just to let you know the Only U.S sway bars we know of are just like the OE factory bar and are hollow and just pressed flat ends thus why they are cheaper it is just tube steel where as Whitline are Solid spring steel and if you look at the steel price market at the moment you will understand the cost of the raw steel let alone then has to be bent , forge the ends and add the adjustment holes then powdercoated twice as we put an extra layer of corrosion clear for countries that snow and have allot of salt on the roads and makes the powdercoat last allot longer.

  8. I actually meant modified as in cut to length ( I think you mentioned cutting the bolts in your install )

Not a big deal though from the sounds of it.

Did you mean that there is a chance of getting stronger mounts fabricated as part of the group by as well?

The Links are straight fit no need to cut anything Dale cut the plastic dust covers that were not actually ment to be fitted.

The guys are looking at making a stronger mount and we will leave it to them as there are many guys here with fabricating skills and they can make a few dollars if they want and make them to suite as these will only work on the Stagea so probably not worth us making them at this stage and gives more opportunity for some one else.

We do at times make heavier mounts mainly cars like Subaru but they fit allot of models so we can mass produce them easier. If some one does them in say the stainless described they will be a great long lasting upgrade we are curious to see what ends up made!

We are still at this stage looking for a way to fabricate the front links as they are something we have not seen before and very unsual but do not look like they would work that well so we hope we can arrange something.

    We will keep you informed

  9. As we do not sell them direct we will not post prices but give it a little bit of time for Dale to organise something and he will list pricing or what ever he organise in a group buy as we said before we are not here to sell direct just to offer parts needed for others to sell.

Dale will post as soon as he organises pricing and maybe an extra part or two.

  10. Here are the pictures I could not fit in the first reply we do not usually put pictures on forums but Whitline has allowed me too this time so I hope you all like the progress

  11. Here is some pictures of the car getting sway bar fitment in raw steel master these are not obviously painted yet but may give you some idea what will be available.

We are looking at 32mm solid front and a 22mm solid rear which in fact the front bar is not much difference in deflection rates to the rear as the arms on the rear bar are so short fron the mounting point.

We tested this on our deflection testion outfit and will show the results when the bars are ready for retail .

The diameter of the bars do not always seem what we think as the lentgh of arms from mounting point and how the are mounted on the control arm or strut etc can determine how much flex from one link to another which is what stiffens the roll on the car.

It was a shock to know there was not allot of diffrence between the stock 29-30mm front hollow bar and the rear 20mm bar it was just they way they are mounted and the length of the arms on the front has made Nissan and then us make such a large bar.

We believe depending on what spring rates people end up using these sway bars will stop the '747' feel you all described and will keep neutral balance front to rear.

We also checked if 350z rear was the same and we can say so far that the sway bar was excactly the same shape but 350z bar was 25mm wider at links. The rear cradle bushes looked smaller and the rear control arms looked different than what we seen on a 350z here but that was a while ago.Diff bush looks the same but will need to fit that too check for sure we did not have time yesterday.

So this is the progress so far see the pictures below

    Thanks.

  13. Whiteline, a few points;

1: Before I set up the group buy, I approached one of YOUR retail outlet points about the possibility of having Whiteline manufacture these sway bars, as I have used your products in the past.

My reasoning was, that if we were to get together enough people, perhaps it could be made as a custom item, but in bulk. This way I thought, it would be worth Whiteline's time and if there was further demand, your company would be well placed to satisfy that demand. Someone's got to be the first car you do it for; Right?

2; I was mocked by the staff member of your retail outlet (who are effectively the face of your business) for requesting a product my car "didn't need" and that Whiteline "don't do custom orders"

3; I then took it upon myself to email Whiteline personally, to find out whether the arrogant retail outlet employee (note; Not the business owner) was misinformed.

4; I recieved NO reply from Whiteline, and therefore decided to go through another business who WAS interested in my custom, is a wealth of knowledge :worship: and has been energetic and helpful THROUGHOUT the entire transaction thus far.

Frankly I find it a little rude, that now there is a chance to make a buck; after having completely ignored me, you post what is basically an advertisement for your product In this thread to take advantage of my and others hard work.:spank:

If this is not the case I would be happy to discuss this issue OUTSIDE this thread.

I would also appreciate it if others would stop giving a platform to this disappointing and apparrently calculated attempt to take work away from a business that was interested enough to step up, and actually SPEAK to me and provide a service I and others are looking for.

    That is all.

    Dale.

    Hi Dale,

We would like to discuss this with you as if a distributor has spoken to you like that or not helped you with you enquiry we are concerned and would like to take that matter up with them.

Could you also let us know what email address you sent your enquiry to as all our emails are archived so we can see when you emailed and we are usually so prompt with our replies we would like to work out why you have not been replied.

You are also right in saying we do not do custom one off bars we recommend all work like that to the same place you are trying to get them made and have a great relationship with them.

The idea is to make this a product line not a custom bar as from what we can see here is that the cars are popular and we can stock them for people that are not in the group buy or just want one out of the blue at a further stage and not have to wait many weeks for.

Please phone us to discuss this and who you maybe able to approach to supply you what your looking for on our toll free 1300 882 355 ask for Wayne Bolton.

We are only trying to help guys as it does not look like it has been easy for you all to obtain the sway bars you are asking for.

We are not here to make a buck we make plenty over the world on all our products this was just to help and hope that people would think we are a company that provides on demand parts that are not available in large volume.

This is not advertising we have many outlets for that and we do not sell direct or on here but many of out traders may so we thought we may help come up with an easy way to obtain bars that looked hard to get and a long wait each time.

  14. Would agree if the initial post did not say all these things are available for the M35 (years 96-00) :whistling: Do you see the error there?

Not much point listing lots of C34 parts in a M35 thread IMO. It only confuses the information available to people.

    Hi Andy,

This was due to copy and pasting error it caught the M35 from a listing but we thought we would just let stagea owners know that we have done bars for them before but has never been listed and we have been a registered user on here since 2004 but never really let any information out.

The idea of posting here is just to help you all get the products you desire as it looked like you were all trying hard with no easy solution so we thought the more help the better.

It looks like there are people willing to offer thier car for R+D and we could develop the bar bushes and links to be available through traders not us and obviously the person that helps with the car would be fixed up for the help!

  15. Clearly there is demand for "Thick bits of bent metal Sway bars" If whiteline want to make them for M35 Stageas then that would be great, feel free to borrow my car if you want to make templates.

user demand is high enough. . especially now that PM35 (non turbo) Stageas are now suitable for compliance. .

    Jules

    Hi Jules,

pm sent first we will see how far away you are

  16. hmm... Sounds like advertising to me.

Mr. Whiteline, perhaps before spruiking your wares, you should speak to admin about becoming a trader?

Also, if you are going to advertise the fact that you have C34 swaybars for sale, you should do it in a relevant thread and not the "Nm35 Sway Bars" thread, no?

We are a wholesaler and will not sell anything through the Skyline Australia forums but many of our distributors are all ready traders on here to buy whiteline products from we are just here to give any advice on our products .

  17. I think you are very confused about what you are posting.

The years of production you are talking are only relevant to the C34 Stagea. The M35 Stagea only started production in 2001.

So lets be really clear here..... Based on the information you have posted above, you DO NOT offer a sway bar to suit the M35 STAGEA.. :spank:

    Hi Andy,

I think that was taken the wrong way we are just showing that we do offer Stagea sway bars and in the dates listed above and we are willing to produce new bars for cars as demand calls for them.

We seen that there seems to be a problem in obtaining the sway bars for these cars and at a competitive price and as we are now trying to improve our stock range we thought we could maybe in the future offer another solution to help you guys out as our products are easily obtained once in production.

We have not previously advertised that we have Stagea sway bars for any models and thought we could let owners like yourself know we are here to help.We also do not get many emails or phone calls requesting them especially for the NM35 so after reading this thread topic just thought you owners may want more options in the future as they seem more popular than we were aware as we usually develop on how much demand we are requested.

If we can be of help please let us know if not we will keep thriving to offer as many products as we can for the Nissan range in the future.

  18. M35 years are from 01-07? Which ones are they?

Only the awd M35's are available over here atm I think.

    Hi Scotty,

These are for the previous models and if any one is interested we could develop a bar for the newer model if we have a sample and maybe a car to do the R+D work on and can data log the information to show the improvement in handling.

  19. Hi Guys,

Just thought we would jump into this thread and answer some questions we hope you do not mind.

Whiteline do offer sway bars for the Stagea maybe some people had not realised that.

Over the past couple of years Whiteline has undergone changes and has thrived to improve and re-vamp many products.

With data logging and an experienced R+D team the quality worldwide is great and the reputation and use of our products has boomed.

We also now have an experienced bender in house with 15 years experience to make and design the master jigs and has worked through the Whiteline changes

of ownership and is the experience that Gary Cook (Sydney KID) was talking about earlier and designed these bars so in fact they are the same bars .We also have now TUV certification in Europe which is an extensive Quality control

system to allow modified parts to used on the cars over there as without this the car can be confiscated and we think getting defected is bad !

We are adopting this process to all of our range so that the Quality and performance is of the best standard and customers can have faith in our products and

after sales customer service and warranty.

We will leave you a list below of what is available for the Stagea and these are available at most leading Auto parts stores , from our website (at full retail) or

many of the sponsor traders on here also supply Whiteline products and can give pricing so shop around see what you all can do and we do not do group buys

but one of the traders may be able to organise that.

We hope you are all happy we have replied as we thrive ourselves on customer service and after sales support so any questions email [email protected] or visit the website www.whitline.com.au or follow us on Facebook for product release and even

some prize give a ways at www.facebook.com/whitelineflatout
