  1. Awesome, exactly what I needed to know. Thanks very much for your reply Edit: Are there any good skyline part websites in Aus at all by the way? Interested to take a look if so.
  2. Hi, Due to come to Australia for new year and have been looking at what skyline parts I can source for my R32 GTR that are cheaper than it'd cost me here in the UK. One thing I thought of was a HKS timing belt kit, found this one on ebay but looks like it comes from the USA. Can anyone advise what the import tax situation is in Australia for car parts (namely in Vic if this makes a difference?) or alternatively can you recommend anywhere which may stock something like the HKS timing belt kit? Seller does post to the UK but costs more to do so and I know in the UK I'd have to pay a lot of import duty and VAT on it Thanks, Alex
  3. Fair point - shamelessly pinched from here when was looking for the answer to the q. Thanks for the reply, did think it would probably be best to offer them up and see if they would fit... any idea what they actually do? I'm guessing something like catch the subframe if it were to slide off the bush or similar?
  4. Definitely a stock part (obviously the collar not the solid subframe bush) they came off the tops of the 4 stock subframe bushes... some pics of them here; Believe they're also called Top Cups. Hoping they're not actually required as already got the subframe back on the car (and don't even know if they'll go over the whiteline bushes) but thought i'd check to make sure. Cheers, Alex
  5. Hi all, Recently fitted Whiteline subframe bushes to my R32 GTR and have just about finished refitting the subframe when I realised I didn't even think about the stock top collars ( the 9mm tall piece in this picture; http://img848.imageshack.us/img848/7771/img1887a.jpg ) Should these have been re-used with my Whiteline subframe bushes and if so what are they actually for? Thanks, Alex
  6. Hi all, Long time reader first time poster... figured it was time I got myself an account on here. Live in the UK but often come to Australia to visit the better half's sister (Melbourne) although if it were up to me I'd definately be moving over there and bringing my R32 with me! (Even if I did manage to get a ticket for 103km in a 100km area in a Nissan Micra hire car on the Princes Highway!) Got a '91 R32 GTR and a Honda S2000 which is my daily driver. Do however have an ulterior motive for joining in that I need some advice about my rear subframe bushes so will throw up a post about that shortly. My R32; (apologies for the terrible pic, was taken in the middle of lots of jobs, didn't even have side spats fitted!) Cheers, Alex
