Hey guys, I was thinking about getting a '96 GTS4 for a first car , seeing as I can't find much information about them anywhere I was wondering if anyone had any info on them , cheers.

you're right , actually I'm currently on my learners and I'm driving a 20 year old toyota hiace with an engine that's about to call it quits so really anything is going to feel 'fast' for me hahaha !!

Out of every single skyline I have ever driven: 31gxe, 32gtst, 33gts4 and 33gtst... the 33gts4 was thee biggest slug of them all. The extra weight really weighs them down and they are dreadfully slow and torqueless. They do however handle great which is what you would want not power on your p's. I have heard the extra weight makes them more thirsty then their gts25 peers
what would be some practical ways to reduce its weight to not make it as sluggish ??

well the one I'm looking at has 83,000 k's and was imported in 2009 , need to take a drive up the coast to have a look at it but by the looks of the photos provided it looks like it's in good shape, a few scratches but what can you do really, it's pretty much stock besides the sound system and an exhaust.
