Have you ever worried about it being parked in public? How much is an alarm to buy and then pay to get it installed?

I have alway loved the r32 but i am worried that someone will steal it or it will break down since it is quite an aged car. Are they stolen often? And how should i secure one if i did grab one? How reliable are they? The 25gt is my backup plan if the r32 is too troulesome. Sorry for bombarding you guys with questions. I just want to make sure i make the right choice and no get f**ked up the arse in the future.
