mY M35 did this a few weeks back,
did tough mudder and road there was bumpy as hell- made the two bolts holding the window track come loose and fall out- so a constant rattle was in the door-
pulled trim off and bolts fell out-
saw where they were meant to go- had to pry plate back into position and then rescrew.
before replacing trim, checked window movement and did go all the way up but then went down 5cm- found out this was due to the door trim not being on yet,
Once trim on work perfect and no rattle!!

If your on the west coast I'm keen! (Or any other stags over here!!)
Sic idea!!
-
Only issue I had with this reversing beeper, is that others who have driven my car, think that I have reversing sensors...
that could lead to some damage.....
-
Cheers Josh!
if im ever pulling that out ill make sure to remove the beep!
-
Hey jetwreck,
If you do the English translation prior to having Australian tuner or iPhone connectivity installed will it matter? Would installing tuner etc after translation reset it or?
Cheers

Hi all,
finally got my axis mid this week! and what an upgrade (from subaru liberty 1994 )
just wanted to ask how other m35's go with creep at light/etc.
For example- the subi auto- if you didn't have foot on brake at lights, it would creep forward (similar in reverse - made it easy to park).
but the m35 i have noticed, doesn't creep at all on level road- so can be at the lights with foot off break and wont move till accelerator is pressed.
Hope its not stuffed!

How many kms does it have ? 75k ish?
Engine No VQ25-168943A?

Hey Dave,
congrats on the axis!!! I just got one myself after months of looking.
may i ask did you get this inspected?
It looks very similar to the one i got inspected in Adelaide with aftermarket rims.... - I have a copy of the report if you want it.. it showed a lot of rust, etc.
who did you purchase thru?
-
Looks sic!!!

Hi All,So after a few long months of looking, finally got a M35 axis!
Fresh off the boat, took it for a test drive yesterday and wow....
Need to wait 2 weeks for compliance/rego which is gonna be the longest 2 weeks of my life!
Thanks to all the information people have provided on this forum as it has helped a lot in regards to things to look out for, and also what mods to do when my funds suffice!
-
Its a pitty guys like that are in the game...
Makes you have that much more credit to the importers noted in these forums who want to help out people with awesome cars!
Props to Adelaide vehicle inspections for a very detailed inspection at a very reasonable price.

Update:
Dealer called today,
Told me he has another axis on its way from Japan, but has no photos of it, so was using the other models photos prior to it being at his yard.
He has mentioned he has sent the old one back and would not try to sell it after the inspection I got was revealed to him.
Apologies for any harm done.
-
Yeah that would have been the one, with non standard axis rims?
ad link is
Also inspector said the VIN stamp is missing a number so it will be hell to register..... glad i didn't get it shipped to Perth before finding that one out!
As mentioned, I can pass inspection report if anyone is really looking at this one....
-
Hey all,
Just a heads up- the car I was gonna get from scs in Adelaide (white 2002 axis) I had inspected and it came back with a lot of problems(rust on whole underside, low oil, warped brakes and much more) the inspector said he is surprised it passed compliance and told him the state of it and he said he was gonna send it back (haha)
I've just seen it for sale again on gumtree-
I can forward the inspection report to anyone who's thinking of looking, don't waste your time.
Can't believe some dealers....
