Could be as simple as a blown fuse/ no fuse for the AWD system, although I'm unsure if that also means the gauge will read nothing as I haven't looked at the gauge when having a blown fuse.
Well I checked the pump thing it still pimes when I bridge those two wires together. But I counted the attessa light and I got numbers.
8, 9, 18 or 19, and 21 so yeah 4 issues with the system. And I dont know why or how to go about fixing them.

I had this problem with my subaru. Eg. Is the same speed. Slower barely hear it. Faster gone. I changed the gearbox and it fixed the problem. Not sure if it was the gears meshing or the pinion gear. Id say that wheel bearings make a whirring noise not wining. Snd pinion gear id guess is the front diff. So I would say possible diff relation or gearbox. Hope this info helped.

This infotmation has been some what helpful to find out why my 4wd light is on. I hope I can work out what it is. Im new to the skyline community. Gave up the h4 community for the rb. So these are unknown dramas to me.

Hi all. I have a 89 gts4 and I just wanted to know how it works because my 4wd light on the dash is there. And there is a torque controller with a 4wd amd 2wd switch and a dial. But my concern is the guage on the dash for front torque doesnt move. If you need any more info just ask. It has a gtr box in it and im.pretty sure the tranfer csse is still there

if the oil isn't low in the reservoir then its the pump that's got issues too. If not the pump having the issue that causes both the leak and the hard steering.
Time for a new P/S pump by the sounds of it...
Any grinding noises at first start up or when you first try to turn the wheel from a cold start?
when i drive i get a knocking on bumps but i cant hear any grinding.

My power steering is leaking.
When I turn left its nice and easy, but when I turn right its really heavy.
If anyone knows of this problem and how to go about fixing it, would be great.

If its a motorcycle battery get a bigger battery. It won't be doing the car any favours at all.
No sorry bad explanation. its no a motorcycle battery it looks like one. its one of those slim car ones. lightweight compact type. half the size of your normal small car battery.

hi all,
im new here just bought a 89 gts-4 fair few mods, one of them happens to be that lobster back intercooler piping.
because of this i have an ultra slim battery to me it looks like a motorcycle battery. its orange in colour.
can someone point me in the direction of where to get one of these types.
