  1. Oh also found out they wound back the tacho it's got about 300000 not 169000 as it read , is anyone honest anymore But compression check an engine check is healthy so don't know what to think I will never do biz in vic again. That's 3 times now I've been screwed down there .

Just found out the guy I brought the skyline off in apr cashed in the rego 2 days after I did the revs check an I've got to re rego it , have to either replace the steering rack or stop the leak. 3 new tyres and kill 6Db, also raise the adjustable coil overs they do hight but can I do it or do I have to get pedders or such too, same principle as a motorbike shock I think but I want the adjustment to be exact. Also thought about adjusting the boost with the adjustable rod but don't know what distance to boost it will make. That's where I'm at. Also looking for a maf befote tune. Cheers
  3. It's got fully adjustable coil overs for hight and ride, so that's a good start it handles great the breaks are in good nick but stock.

  5. The mechanic I seen yesterday said he'd have it running 280kw in a week, but what we spoke about the haltech platinum piggyback I'd have a safe 220-230 but your right about injectors , regulator and pump. Are I tank fuel pumps a hassle to install?

  7. I was told yesterday it was running really rich an can't change that till it's tuned but better than lean ? But they were talking to a Nissan moron ,now I know how other people have felt when I'm going on at a mile a minute on other topics.

Just got hold of the guy that did up the car, he spent 13000$ on it It has an adjustable arm on the antenuator to a just boost so a just nut back toward cabin lower , towards front end higher boost , he had it tuned with the stock ecu with the tune stats I posted an has a 12.5 quarter mile printout , 2 cowboys owned it between him to me, in a 5 month space of time , turbo is high flowed an will handle 18psi but he only ever had it at 11. so if they didn't mess up to much in that 5 month gap , I'm on a good thing

No that's the rub I'd have to buy it , there are a lot cheaper ones around so ill have to look into it, but those tune results I posted the other day were my car with a programable ecu an a tune, that's all that's missing from getting into the 280rwkw range, but he said 230-240 would be safe as houses to run with the current running gear already there.

  19. Ok the skyline has been Dyno run at ultimate, is putting out 164.6RWKW@154KPH, 257N.m@148kph 9psi boost Has bigger garrett hj300?? Turbo And everything's already there to get min 230+RWKW with a aftermarket ecu an a safe tune. So ill shut up now, I'm happy it's a solid engine all the aftermarket stuff is there down to a 3in exhaust system. Thanks for your help guys.

I got these plugs from supercheap I got a 2000$ gift card from insurance when the house got robbed so I get what ever I need from there that's why I got em, but if experience says don't use em, I'll put them away as spares. I just found a shit load of Victorian paperwork in the glovebox I couldn't open it before because of the gauges . There are 2 Dyno tune workshop receipt for a tune saying 1) dated June 2 2012 Before tune.... Torque 519 Nm Torque 382 LBS/FT Power (KW) 156 Power (HP) 209 Speed 119kph After tune Torque 589 Nm Torque 434 LBS/FT Power (KW) 219. Power (hp) 293 Speed 146kph 2) dated August 9 2012 Torque 598 Nm Torque 441 LBS/FT Power 216KW Power 289 HP Speed 142kmh So I'm going to make some phone calls tomorrow an find out what's been done as when I brought it if this woman she didn't know anything much about it, she got it for money her ex owed her.   22. Just a quick stupid question as I'm still waiting on my workshop manual, Changing sparkplugs , are they under the splitfire coils? also I brought a set of Bosch P38-6 FR 7KPP 33U+ Bosch Platinum plus Are these plug any good as there the best they had where I went. Cheers Daryl

Those wide rims that come with the car aren't that bad the spokes are grey enamel an look ok with a bit of shine not to much rash, still have not idea how to clean under the car steering rack etc it's to low at the front to get up on ramps, anyone know a trick. Some guy down the street have me a pair of BMW racing leather seats, Well on BMW rails but easy to swap over , I think? Right price anyway. Cheers guys, hope you don't mind the running commentary ,
  25. What about the BOV would that somehow replace the stock one I'm using an is there any point, I can't see a brand NMR on it but it's in new condition. Also could I canablize the turbo actuator for mine or best to just sell it to a WRX owner. Daryl
