  1. You'll understand me not haggling on the forums.

There is significant interest in the car at the asking price already, so its already long past a point of haggling.

If you're seriously looking for a good GTR, I think you should be a little more realistic with what you're prepared to pay.

You're going to struggle to find a 33 Vspec GTR of this specification and condition for less money. Thats IF you can find one..

Beware of crashed and repaired GTR's, there's lots of them out there..

    Best of luck,

    Sebaz

  2. Hi there,

Yes, this car has been built up from standard by Joviant.

Car had 57km's on it when it arrived from Japan. The full car history is known.

A real pleasure to drive. I forgot just how good. Got back in it yesterday after not driving it for a month and it still amazes me how quick and how tight this car is. No rattles, no squeaks, nothing. Its like new. Corners like nothing else I've driven, with mind bending acceleration. I wish I didn't have to sell it!

If you're serious about owning a quality GTR this is one you should be looking at.

All serious offers considered, so make an offer!

  3. a bit off topic but are u a car dealer or are u just getting someone to help u sell it who owns a dealership.

    Hi,

Its my GTR (owned it for nearly 5 years..)

The dealer advertising the car offered to assist me with the sale of my GTR as I bought another lesser car from them. Nice gesture on their behalf.

This parting with your pride and joy stuff is not fun..

  5. Yokahama A048

    Dry: 9/10

    Wet 7/10

Value: best in class, but how do you score good value at 2k a set??

Got a good price from Owen tyres at Brookvale Sydney for a set of 265/35/18's

Still no change from 2k though... :)

These tyres have even more road noise than the Dunlop DJ01's I used to run on my 17's. Not sure if thats entirely due to reduced profile or not. Also give them a couple of minute to warm up cause they're a bit skatey when cold.

In the dry they are awesome! Wet isn't to bad either considering.

  6. Is this the same engine you were selling in July 2004.

RB26DETT engine with standard turbos, complete. (its has a high flowed head and R/R standard turbo's) Engine just checked and serviced (this month) pending seperate engine sale. Removed from my car for new blueprinted engine build up. Perfect condition, don't trust an import engine when you can buy a checked and serviced one for the same price!!!: 7.5K

    Hi Frank,

I know we've spoken but for the sake of the forum..

I've had it on consignment at a friends shop (tweakit) for a while. Thought I'd post a thread again though.

Haven't tried all that hard to sell it cause I haven't really needed the money.

Its a good engine and will serve who ever buys it well.

If anyone else would like Pics etc please PM me.

    Thanks,

    Sebaz

  7. Engine is SOLD! Engine is SOLD!

I have a stock r33 GTR complete motor for sale due to a recent built engine upgrade/replacement.

This is not a long motor, it has everything on it, fueling setup, turbo's the works. Bolt in ready to go.

Its a stock engine that has brand new stock turbos. Engine has done 65k total and was the original engine in my 33 vSpec GTR. Its in pristine condition. I'd still be using it myself had I not bought a half finished built motor project.

Spent 3k on a top overhaul to freshen it up just before I swapped it for my new built motor (Not smartest use of funds on my part but hey.. shit happens! Good news for the lucky buyer!)

    Price is $5.5k ono

Its currently for sale on consignment at Tweak it performance in Mona Vale Sydney if you'd like to check it out for yourself.

    or PM if you're interested

  8. hey guys,

Found the issue.. we think.. Umm probably should have mentioned I'm running an aftermarket ecu as well.. sorry bout that..

Anyways.. its looking like the Air conditioning compressor electrical activation, and the way it was wired up to the ecu, is what caused the problem.

The aftermarket ecu in question had been setup to turn the compressor on at a certain rev range. The subsequant 1v voltage drop when the compressor was enabled was enough to make the 4wd computer crap out.

So put the air-con back to pressure fed activation rather than an ecu activation and presto all working again.

Hopefully fixed for good. thanks for those that provided input.

  9. Hi guys,

Bit of an explanation required before the question..

    Car is a 33 Vspec.

Had a bit fun lately with an issue related to TPS that caused my 4wd to keep dropping out.

Since fixed that problem but spent a lot of time driving the car in 2wd as a result of it including a couple of 11 hour drives too and from Melbourne. Been a little worried about the effect of this time in 2wd ever since..

Today at a track day I was getting about 4 laps max before my 4wd and ABS warning lights came on dropping out the 4wd everytime again.

It would appear this time it was due to fluid temp in the transfer case as it got hot enough to pop the breather and leak a bit a fluid. This was noted as a small reduction in fluid in the rear fluid reservior in the boot.

Being an electronically controlled centre pump on the Vspec, I'm assuming that after the 4wd dropped out (the electronic pump is disabled) the remaining fluid bascially cooked (breather popped) before I could get it back to the pits.. And admittedly I wasn't exactly off it :-)

Jacked the car up wiped the excess fluid away let it cool down went did a few more laps, more carefully this time. Again the 4wd dropped out after about the same amount of time and laps give or take, due to what I suspect is over temp, but this and subsequent times I backed right off and pited to let it cool. No leaks.

Question is... shit fluid or something more sinister with the transfer case given the previous long 2wd stints??

Wouldn't have a clue about this. Any ideas?

    Thanks,

    Sebaz
