So I bought this S2 RS4 a few months ago, guy I got it from had it sitting for quite a few months
Im wondering if any one on here owned it or knows who owned it
curious about the work to engine as guy I got it from was kind of vague about it

We have the HC for it now
Inj-duty is about 1.6/7 when cranking

Hey guys
A mate just bought a 32 with a RB25 from a 33 running on a PowerFC. it runs and drives but has a few little issues they we need some help with.
When starting cold or hot it takes 2-3 turns of the key for it to actually start, 1st time u could crank forever and it won't start, 2nd crank it will stumble after a while, 3rd it starts up just fine
Sometimes when it's hot and restarted a few mins later it will start first go
It runs rich as f***, huge black clouds before boost and as u let off, also has huge orange fireballs as u let off from full throttle
Has very bad fuel economy
Has Z32 AFM and been told aftermarket injectors (can I get info on standard injectors so I can double check)
Input and help is greatly appreciated
Dont really wanna pay for a full retune if it's something simple

i thought it was sort of an upgraded version of the standard ECU

might have to change the topic heading, found a red R32 GTS-t thats a little beaten up, comes with two rb20 blocks, couple of other spares and a MINES ECU

i think all coils are the same, they all break from heat, whichever ones ya want and maybe get some air flow over them

so the racing bug has hit me and a friend, so we've decided to build a track car
We want a 31 cuz around theres too many Silvias, 180's, 32's and 33's
Havent got a car yet, but we do have a motor, a RB20DET someone had in their VL Commodore, no idea if it runs but we're tearing it down anyway
also got a nice shiny cooler
Todays progress:
Got both manifolds off
removed nearly all water and oil lines
removed the sump and oil filter
painted the cam covers
Parts we got:
RB20DET Block, head, manifolds, turbo and ecu
After market front mount intercooler
Parts we need so far:
Car
VRS kit
Timing belt and water pump kit
Head bolts
plugs, Coils and loom
injectors

well the cars off the road for a while so ill try the GTS one for a while and see how it goes

will bov or recirc valve increase perfromance and stop damage in any way
also do i need a GTS-t fuel pump or will and GTS one suffice

Okay, so I have the hubs, rotors and calliper a from a GTS t, along with the ecu and motor from one
In regard to the AFM, I have a custom intercooler, now do I put it after the intercooler in regards to pressure drop across the intercooler or am I seriously wrong
The bits I'm swapping is just vacuum lines, alt, power steer pump etc
Exhuast will be custom made, got a HD clutch waiting to go in and haven't got a BOV as I told I didn't need one as it will only ever run 7-12 psi

mostly just want the engine stuff, not bothered about everything else

so i got a R32 GTS and well as you can expect from a N/A RB20 its rather sluggish. ive got a turbo motor that i bought, it came with the intake, turbo, dump pipe, ECU and oil lines.
the plan is to clean the turbo motor up and swap the good bits from the na block and transfer to the turbo block.
i have a few questions on thing im not clear with:
1. where do i put the AFM
2. is there any other sensors other than the AFM, O2, CAS, TPS that the GTSt has that the GTS has such as pressure sensor etc.
3. do i need a bigger fuel pump and pressure reg
possibly many more questions coming

Hey guys new to the forum and skylines (sort of). Anyways this thread is for me and mate and the R32 GTS we`re building up.
Okay so we started out by buying the car from Harvey bay for 5k (we now realise that it was not worth that much, but we're young and dumb, it happens) got it home to caboolture, got a roady and Reno and drove it around for a few days.
After realising that its not as quick as we thought it would be the search started for a turbo motor.
Picked one up for $500 and been waiting to put it in.
Now the gearbox is on its last legs so time for it to come off the road and the build begin :-)
So far the mods done are:
5-stud conversion
Alarm
Stereo (needs to be better)
Thermo-fan
Exhaust (no idea what kind)
First things to fix:
Front wheels have different camber (im thinking bent control arms)
Handbrake not too good (needs adjustment)
Engine miss (new coils and plugs, only happens when cold)
Steering coloum missing
Gearbox fudged
Headlights don't adjust and point in rediculous directions
Tint purple
Various body work and rust
Future plans:
Turbo conversion
HD clutch
New body kits
HIDs
Coilovers
Bigger and better audio
GTR dash
So that's the story , any feedback is good so whack away
