I have a r34 gtt with (130k on the clock) and i was involved in a hit on the passenger side of my car with a road barrie. The front quarter panel, rear panel and both front and rear bumpers were effected. Mechanically everything is fine, no leaks or anything major in steering alignment, and no structural damage at all. All cosmetic!
Going through insurance, they have claimed market value (i know, i shouldn't have chosen this option, but i did) to be 8-11k. Mechanically, everything has been kept pristine with no leaks/rattles/knocks etc. And they wish to salvage it for 5k!?
I've put the past 2 years into my baby, and I do NOT want to see it gone for cosmetic damage. I'm bloody devastated. I'm waiting for the final verdict on Monday, but it does NOT look good at all...
Looking on carsales, the avg price is 13-15k, how the hell did they come up with such a low figure?
Can anyone give me any advice which may work in my favor to bring insurance company to repair this
