  1. Depends on the car and what you consider "slightly modified"

My 32 would be considered slightly modified with simple bolt ons and with Toyo TQ drag radials I got a bit carried away with launch rpm and spun all 4 and nearly ran over the Christmas tree :D

Lol that might be driver mod :yes: my Evo 8 with 550whp would spin all "THREE" too, not entirely sure what setups come on the GT'rs whether they have true lsd's F/R or just Rear LSD and a gripper or open lsd in front.

Slightly modded might be upgraded ECU / boost levels etc, bolt-on turbo upgrade, 3" Downpipage/3" TBE could be a multitude of other parts, but i consider that to be "slight modification"

Also to OP: Dead-hooking will and can snap axles/shear hubs/diffs I snapped my stage 3 B5 Audi S4 axles launching it off 2-step (12lbs .9bar) at the track

  2. Slicks without using anti-lag/2-step/launch control on a slightly modified turbo car is pointless ESP on a RWD or 4WD car. Your car makes no power out of boost (well slightly less than a non-turbo equivalent of your motor.) Car is not making enough power out of boost to even challenge slicks

  3. There are only a few things that can damage your car, suprisingly enough spinning doesn't actually do any mechanical damage apart from blowing off some tires, Dead-hooking can snap axles/diff's etc (hopefully axles first) And harsh undulations in side loading over rough pavement can shorten the life of hubs/bearings etc, but other than that skid away

  4. Nismo Struts/Shocks with just under 5k on them. Imported from Japan.

    http://www.nismo.co.jp/products/catalogue_2014/#page=173

Paid $1575 shipped, lowers fronts 15mm / rears 10mm $1000 + Shipping Or trade for LOW km coilovers (already have a set in mind)

Complete set of 5k Nismo Struts/Shocks and Nismo springs

This setup is more track-oriented than just pure lowering, stiffer ride without sacrifing comfort. Only reason I am selling now is that I am going a different direction with the vehicle (looking to show the car so either bags or a good set of coilovers)

Cusco Strut Brace $130 + Shipping Minty Fresh :)

  5. Nice and stealth Rob :)

Whats the 6262 like on the 4G response wise?

Wasn't too bad at all, lag was noticeable but i had full boost around 4500rpms as long as you stayed in the higher rpm range it was great.. had an issue with my 38mm external gate and stepped it up to a 44mm later on and had no issues... 4G63 motor is my favorite 4cyl definately over the EJ20's and EJ2.5's

  6. Just picked up my V36, and love it. Ive always been into Volvo's and Bmw's. Have own an E39 M5, an E36 M3 Dakar Yellow, with V2supercharger (then a S226 Turbo) owned an E92 M3 for a year. Then i was into volvo's had a 98 S70 T5 5-speed with 20k of work done to it, make 562whp with matching torque. I've always had a soft spot for the VQ35/VQ37 DTB's, early models used to make oil just disappear, but the new models are fantastic!

  7. Some interestingly useless replies.

Lets start at the top. Your thread states you want it louder, yet in your post you want more power. Well a well designed exhaust may gain a few "nanowatts" but free-flowing exhausts on NA cars do not yield much gains vs turbo cars. NA cars need backpressure to make power.

IF you want to make the car slightly louder remove the resonator from the exhaust and weld a straight pipe back in, this will retain the stock muffler/s and will help you get noise/not power

  8. I see points in both cases here, but if you (Chris) is doing all the research because HE wants to sort it out for his own vehicle etc, then it would be kind of monopolizing to not help out his fellow nissan enthusiasts OR guide them in the right direction. If he is doing it to make a business out of it (doing the research for other people etc) then he is well within his rights to charge whatever he wants.

  9. Just got my 07 350GT here in New Zealand after moving back from the USA. Has 70k on it, Nismo Struts/Springs, Cusco Brace, 19" Enkei Factory Wheels. Now I have a friend who can get me 20% off on a Stillen SC kit, but it is super expensive for shipping. Also looking for a nice set of coilovers, and the lug-pattern and offset of the stock wheels. Here is a pic as it sits now, quite flush but not exactly how i want it to sit.
