  1. The question is 5 years old though. Maybe the brackets have rusted away since.

    Haven't been here for awhile

But yeah, wanted pictures because I'm not sure where the holes are for where the moûts go. I have a couple Gt4 34 and iv found out the rear sub frame is different to a N/A rsf... Like the Gt4 one had longer sub frame bushs and bump stops welded to the sides. The N/A rsf doesn't, and it's rsf bushs are flush with the sub frame. Because I had to swap the Gt4 one with the N/a one....(Because I didn't have a rear sway bar) smh..

It's lower now and my exhaust hits my bumper and and it had a open diff so I used the lsd from the Gt4 one subframe Thats was a while ago now wonder if the N/a has the mounting points

  2. has anyone drilled into the stock turbo oil feed section onto the block before....... looks like you need a long drill ?

Iv read this from the start, easy way out of not drilling it to get a oilcooler and run the oil feed into that then into the oil filer lines and back.... Something like that, hope that helps.

After owning me coupe 34 Gt4 for 9 year n/a iv decide to turbo it. And that oil cooler idea looks like the go

  3. the holes are already there & are threaded, its as if nissan forgot to bolt the swaybar in.

just buy the rear swaybar mounts & links from a GTST/GTT, and get your swaybar and bolt it up.

i done the exact same thing but upgraded to poly mounts & a GTR swaybar which is thicker

    Have any pictures?

  4. Your gtfour is a 5 speed correct?

If it is not crunchy then put in a normal gb fluid as recommended in one of these pages.

Use lsd fluid for your rear diff (not needed for front but you might as well because it takes a bees dick worth of fluid)

    Transmax z for remainder.

Just presume your car is a gtr then take advice from here.

Thanks, I have the transmix z. So that's the attesa and transfercase out of the way

(one shop in town had it)

And they recommend castrol axle EPX 80-90 for the front and rear? Haven't opened it yet because I feel sus about it. And also they said that I don't need to change the gearbox fluid..... So that makes me think they don't know. Just going off that fluids chat on the computer. And I don't really bother because the aren't and er34 gt-fours listed... Then he told me that my car is rwd.. But yeah, it is manual. Iv had it for 7 years. It's not crunching into gears, it's just getting hard to select reverse and 1st when cold. Think it could be all factory fluid. Because when I first got it I was the second owner in Oz the previous owner had it for a year, and when I first got it, it had a big ass blue oil filter with Japanese over it. Old dirty spark plugs.

    Going off topic

  5. I have read through this thread several times, and still end up confused on what product of oil i need to put in my GTR's rear/front diff's and transfer case...

Can somebody just tell me exactly what i need to buy from my local supercheap auto/auto barn/repco!

I did my Gearbox oil the other week, and used Castrol VMX-M. Seems all good to far, and shifts a bit smoother then the old oil that was in there!

Please. Somebody, just tell me what i need to buy......!

  6. Been reading through all these pages and can't find a straight answer for my questions

    I have a er34 awd manual

    Gearbox oil-?

    Transfer case-trasnmax z?

Rear diff oil-? Visious it think

    Front diff oil-?

    Attesa pump-trasnmax z?

Thank you to anyone that can clear things up

And! Just wondering if all my running gear and things are off a stagea? Might be able to find things easier.

  7. Hey I'm new to replying and posting usually just read, but I'm after a peace of mind.

I have an 99 r34 2door manual awd neo25de... Iv been offed a neo25det awd out of a stagea and was just wondering what I would have to do for a engine swap, is it a pretty straight forward swap? I have a power fc with hand controler in the box waiting to be used for a 34 gt-t.

  8. Im looking at doing the same kind of thing, but I can't decide if I want to buy a neo rb25det awd engine and swap it. Or turbo the neo de I have... I have a gt-4 2 Door manual 34. Iv been offed a stagea awd neo25det $2400... Would it be a straight swap? Plug n play? And I have a power fc and hand controler for a 34 gtt. In its box sitting around.

  9. hey everyone

I'm hoping to get some advice or insight please.

My brother in-law and I have recently tried to do a turbo conversion on a R34 GT which has been ongoing over about 3 months.

We've tried to start it up recently, and it won't crank over.

The fuel pump (new walbro pump) primes, we have spark and I've put a screwdriver to the injectors to listen for pulse...everything seems 'okay' but it just won't fire over.

I've tried getting it a bit of a sniff with some brake cleaner and it does nothing either.

The ECU is coming back with an error 46

Is there anything I'm overlooking or neglecting? Any help or insight would be appreciated.

    Cheers,

    Marco

Oh, i'll quick add what we've have done roughly so far.

rb25det neo manifold with R33 S2 Throttle Body

    rb25det exhaust manifold with R33 S2 Turbo

    Walbro fuel pump

    rb25det neo fuel injectors

    rb25det neo auto ECU

I havn't run all the vacuum lines yet, just couple things to finalise.

  10. Im looking at doing a similar swap, I have a 99 34 gt-4 manual neo de and I'm looking at a neo det from a stagea because I want the awd parts. Pretty much a straight forward swap? And will the PFC for a r34 de/det work?
