Explain please. And how do I fix that

So early yesterday i noticed that when I would accelerate from a stop (btw I have a manual trans) I would feel a small shudder while in first and second at the beginning of accelerating. Later that night and today I am in any gear and the engine will rev really high with little acceleration. I have an idea that it may be the drivetrain going out but not completely sure. Car is a 96 R33 GTS25T
