  1. R32 running rich after power fc re-initialize

    Car running rich even at idle after warm up. Wideband shows 13.5 and if I floor it it will drop to 10. I do have o2 feedback on with month old o2 sensors installed. I reinitialized the power fc and dropped timing to 39 instead of 45 on the middle load spots and did 30 minute learn session but car was already warmed up. I also just verified the o2 sensors are tightened. Cleaned the MAFs last night. I have hks intakes, impul  front pipe, decat, and a very old hks silent hi power exhaust. Meth kit installed but off and empty while I figure this out.

    edit: also I replaced the ignition harness with a new oem one.

    edit2: Just disconnected the top Maf and it went straight to 14.7 and idled fine. Bad Maf?

  2. How do I remove 14498-05U14 please? I dug through the manual but didn't find anything. Do I start by removing the bolts on this end(in attached image)? Kind of lost since I was unable to source the replacement yet but would at least like to do the first part while I wait. I am going to use Amayama since no shops in Japan could get it for me. Thank you!

    I will get the kit I found on the japan yahoo auctions and probably do what I can. I have access to a lift(hoist) and many tools. Definitely going to get a new radiator as mine is pretty rusty looking on the inside. I should've swapped it when I got the car. Wish I had the extra cash to drop it off somewhere. Bet this job will be a pain.

  4. RB26 Coolant Leak

    Noticed temp getting near 100c so I shut down. Noticed a leak. After cooling I filled it up and squeezed pipes and found where its coming from. Anyone know the part number by chance? When I do squeeze it comes out the back of the metal pipe. It squirts straight so its a decent hole and not from the hose being loose. Its at the back of the block next to the firewall. Any help is greatly appreciated. -Dave

  5. Strangely enough I only knew about it from my friend's who came from the US for Tokyo Auto Salon, but they've got lots of friends in the automotive media world. I haven't even gotten my car yet (fingers crossed it should arrive today or tomorrow)

    Also met a couple SAU forum users from Perth that were really nice which is not surprising since Aussies have been nothing but nice. I guess even the guy on the Tokyo pub crawl that dropped his pants outside the next bar to show me a budgie smuggler.

  7. Here is my current map. I am running stock turbos, HKS intakes, decat, HKS Hipower, and power fc. I had boost set to 1.0 kg cm^2 but I didn't reach it because the duty cycle wasn't set high enough. I hit .90. I now have it at 1.1 and lowered some timings and I also added AEM's water methanol kit with the 500cc nozzle. I will soon be doing a 3rd gear pull with my 35% methanol and 65% water mix. If anyone has suggestions they are greatly appreciated even if it's get your ass to a real tuner, haha!
