Thanks for the replys guys, i used to run 20w-50 in my rb20 back in the day.. im debating on going back to that now on this 26, like you guys mentioned 5w-40 is probobly not the best choice.
I have done the screwdriver to the engine method. Nothing heard. Im in Seattle WA. Might as well be Anchorage though!!
got my massive part order in from Osaka!

Hey guys thought id post this up and see if you guys are hearing it too. I feel like there is a faint rod knock going on. Or maybe im just hearing things.
the engine has 188km's on it, early model rb 1990, bone stock when I received it... not sure how hard the car was driven in the past. I am currently running Redline 5w-40 in it.
thanks

Any non-articulated arm is poison on an R32. Doesn't matter what length, what style of bush or bearing at the ends. All bad. The best, absolute best, option right now is this, based on the arms used in Group A GTRs back in the day. I have recently put some on my car and they are really good.
As to coilovers.....my opinion is that any off the shelf brand name coilover is a bad choice. If you're going to follow my advice on the arms (and therefore be ordering something from Australia to be sent to you in Trumpistan) then you should also consult MCA here about options. Their stuff is properly developed from real motorsport experience, not hard as rocks poorly damped Jap struts.
Interesting man thanks for the info on both.

Hey guys Im about to place a bulk order for my R32 GTR in the states. Im kinda stuck between the Cusco Street Zero A's (8/10 spring rates) and the HKS Hipermax IV SP (7/7 Spring rates) Wheels are 18x9's with either a 255/35 or possibly a 265/35.

Also when is a front camber arm needed roughly? To give an idea of the ride height im gonna have I included a couple pics below. Id perfer to stick with the Cusco fixed arm in the front vs an adjustable I see they offer 3 different sizes +5mm, OEM and -10. Im assuming for my planed ride height the OEM would be better?
Thanks for the help.

I just went from a stock OEM clutch to a Coppermix twin non-competition model. And i swear it has the same pedal feel as the original.

Im looking to replace my Sumitumos with Brembos because Im due for new everything front and rear. I have a set of R33 GTR rear brembos. Im curious if anyone knows FOR SURE if 350z Brembos with 350z rotors fit on the front of a R32 GTR. I have heard the calipers and rotors off a 350z work together, just need to drill the holes to a fit the larger bolts, can anyone confirm this?
Thanks!

Got the coppermix twin in the mail, I ended up going with the non competition.. Just a standard Nissan alignment tool will work?
Thanks!

If it's non vspec just get R33 or R34 or Z33 brakes and fit them.
Are the Z33 Brembos a for sure fit on the R32 GTR? Other than drilling the Holes to 14mm is there anything else?

Any more info on the setup?
The kit is made by a company here in the states called Momentum Performance,They went out of business a few years ago. Its a GT35r, V band plumbing 600cc injectors. ETC. Ive changed up a few things, Im running a custom SFR intercooler a little more airflow friendly to the sedan bumper and the Cosworth plenum. Pretty happy but im ready for more boost.

Thanks guys, I feel good about the coppermix. I put a Exedy stage 2 on my VQ35de with a Exedy Light weight flywheel and ive regretted it everyday, dont wanna run into that pain again. Jackstand clutch changes are no fun!

You guys rock thanks!

OS Giken Streetmaster/Grand touring Twin disk.
Im due for a new clutch on the R32 and thought id see if anyone is running the OS Giken Street master/ Grand touring Twin disk Hard cover. My goal is to keep, chatter and clutch noise to a minimum, power goal around 450 wheel HP. As streetable a possible. Im kind of trying to balance it all out.
Here is what im looking at:
