  1. 1995 Nissan Skyline GTR R33 V-Spec Series 1
Painted in Lexus Starfire Pearl White 077, similar to the pearl white on the R34. Pops and brings the car much to life than the original QM1 it was painted in.
    Priced at $84999 to sell.
This lovely example of a Series One R33 GTR V-Spec has been owned by myself by the last 5 years. Within that time it has gone through extensive refreshment and restoration of many of the
bits and pieces that become tired and need refreshing on these high performance classic Japanese cars.
The engine has been rebuilt to a forged 2.7 litre with modern bits like trigger kit, 35 coil kit and head drain. Its managed by a Haltech Platinum Pro and made 415kw to the wheels, tuned by Adam
At JEM. This was on a single Walbro 460 pump (now upgraded to a modern silent 550), with a surge kit the car will hit 500kw. Engine runs, revs and accelerates well, and is built to handle track work, though
    it has nebever been.
The gearbox is a series 3 unit which is already stronger, and then it has been rebuilt by Gearbox masters with brand new synchros and bearings, alongside a rebuilt shifter unit. The hardened gearbox mount
and fresh internal give a crisp and smooth shift action and make for a nice drive. In addition, the rear diff and subframe, usually neglected on older Nissan's, has been fitted with new bushes so the drivetrain is very tight with no slop and the
car drives and feels very solid.
The suspension has been fully refreshed back and forth with new poly bushes, ball joints and adjustable arms where required. I made sure to get rid of any old or soggy bushings which really debilitate the cars handling. A new set of Tein street coilovers
were fitted and height adjusted so as to minimise bump steer and to handle well, car can be lower and more aesthetic but that wasn't the goal. A Supepro Rear swaybar kit was fitted for much better handling balance (these cars tend to understeer).
The body is in great condition with some usual wear and tear for a 30 year old car. The car has been open door resprayed in Lexus pearl white in the last ten years at some point, it presents very well. It has Series 3 parts such as lights, lips and other
Nismo parts which really enhance the exterior. Always detailed and garaged under cover.
Interior has always been looked after and presents well.
Recently engine, gearbox and differentials have all been serviced.

  2. New update

i followed the procedure, bled everything including diff and transfer case, plenty of air came out, car definitely feels a lot better

i have this new thing happening. So right after I bleed the car or I open the brown plug and it activates the pump, the level is at max line and the air gap is 5mm

if I leave the car sitting around un started for a day, the liquid rises back to like 3-4 above max line

Now with the reservoir way above max, as soon as I go open the bleed fuse, it sucks all the liquid back down to the max line

so is there air still in the system making it do that? Don’t see why it should rise back

I was looking at the rear diff section again and found the actual formal bleed procedure, if you don't have a Consult it boils down to cycling the pump with the ATTESA air bleed connector and opening the bleeder on the diff:

Mate I love you haha I really appreciate the solid information. I’ve referred to the sticky on this topic but it’s a bit vague and outdated.

yeah so I’ve worked out the LSD and 4wd both work off the same core atessa pump which is located behind rear driver side wheel right? So first bleed the pump, bleed the diff, and then bleed the transfer case. Rinse repeat if required?

here I was under the impression that the differential had its own reservoir and pump, but in reality on the V spec, the system is combined. so I wonder if the V spec has an uprated pump system to service the LSD and 4wd?

  4. Beautiful appreciate that response !

    so same reservoir that’s great.

do I actually have to use compressed air to the cap of the reservoir or will just activating it through the drivers footwell as is done for the Atessa system fine?

I’ve read there is a seperate plug to be disconnected for the Alsd where the pump mechanism is behind drivers wheel? Or is that false?

Yeah so the bleed nipple on top of diff and also under the LSD pump behind the driver wheel?

    cheers

Same reservoir but you need to also bleed the hydraulic fluid from the top of the rear diff. There are multiple bleed points in the system, you need to bleed all of them for it to work as intended. You can run the pump to bleed the system the same way as is described in the ATTESA bleed guides.

  5. Hi guys

Long story short I’ve installed a new Subframe on my Gtr at the workshop and they have failed to appropriately bleed the ATESSA system AFTER DISCONNECTING, THE LSD.

Does the LSD and the four-wheel-drive system share both the same reservoir?

And can I bleed the LSD by using the switch plug in the footWELL of the driver side of the car that is used to bleed the 4WD system?
