Nah, it’s more for the sake of having the function just cause lol.
Aux works fine but I’d much prefer to stick a Bluetooth radio or even a single din CarPlay radio that folds out or something.
I just can’t figure out how I pull the thing out as all the v35/g35/m35 removal guides I've looked at have different shaped plastic trims that don’t match up to mine so I’m weary of following them and ripping the car up for nothing.

So every other image of the stagea interior ive seen on the forum has the dvd player above the glovebox and some flush inbuilt stereo in front of the shifter, my car for some reason has another entire glovebox above my glovebox, and the dvd player is instead in the centre, along with a single DIN radio and a non-popup screen. The setup was definitely installed in japan as my radio refuses to go outside like 70-89 on frequency and I cant find a manual.
Would the stereo removal process be the same as the normal m35 removals on the forum or can I simply slide the single DIN radio out somehow with a tool?
Also, my antennas are like built inside my windshield and Im going to need a new windshield, how would I replace those?

I found a Koyorad for my PNM35 here which looks very similar to the TBAP one on JustJap so im hoping it goes alright.
Looking to also try the cooling mod myself but I cant seem to find a post with images that still exist.

OK update turns I could be a little slow, I have a nissan smart/intelligent key fob so I think the reason its starting without the key after disarming the immobilizer is because it has keyless start and is detecting the key next to me 🤦♂️.
Once I get it back from the mechanic ill test if I can start the car keyless like before except with the key put super far away to test the theory.
If it manages to start by just the immobilizer being disarmed and it has nothing to do with my nissan key then I might look at making it not do that.

Found a card in the manuals bag that has the override code for a mongoose brand system. Found the exact one in my car Here. I don’t seem to have the second little key for the immobiliser however.

Just found a little connector that it fits in, it tricks the ignition into thinking the key is in for like 30 seconds and I can turn the starter without putting my key in.
I can still start the car the usual way using my actual key. Very odd

My set of keys for my m35 stagea came with this odd little plastic key fob. It has two metal prongs on the top and I have no idea what it goes to in the car. Any ideas?

Hey all,
Just picked up an '07 Stagea 350Rx four as a first car and I'm keen to learn how to work on the thing.
From my knowledge she pretty mechanically sound but I have plans to either translate or remove the all Japanese head unit in it so I might end up asking a few questions on here.

From what I can gather the radio, screen and Navi are aftermarket jap but the navi+screen is connected to my OEM reverse cam and tv tuner somewhere else in the car.
I’ll poke around with some pry tools and have a look then.
