I've searched high & low on the forums for a R34 GT-X & can't find anything. My son has been on me about buying one as his first car, & so it definately has to be a non turbo, 4 door vehicle. The ones I've seen in the flesh are really nice looking cars, but I know nothing of their reliability or value. Any help appreciated, thanks guys.

Last night on the way home from work I noticed a slight shudder while driving (going about 90km) and grew slightly concerned.
Jump to this morning, get in the car and go to the shops, all good. Get in to go home and the car shudders like mad from about 30km/h up
Needless to say it was a distressing drive home indeed.
Ideas?

Are your wheel nuts done up tight ??????... Seriously, I saw a wheel come off a VW beetle at 80 odd K, it (the wheel) just missed me, & it was very funny seeing the sparks flying......

I am kinda dissapointed these cars will be released in Australia. It takes away some of their exclusivity & mystique. Puts them in the bracket of the ss toilet doors & flacooons.

Mine are nearly finished as well. The euro projectors fit nicely into the nissan support. I was lucky enough to just drill & screw them all together without using JB Weld.
What I need now is the glue to reseal the headlight glass to the plastic body, essendon nissan doesn't have it, & a headlight repairer wants
$110 for each headlight to reseall them, I smell a ripoff .....
Does anyone know where I can get this glue from ???

Regarding the relocation of the filter, I've heard that there MAY be issues with oil pressure drops, this comes from a very qualified source who's done a lot of work on skylines in victoria....

Just had an oil change, used mobil 1 10W 50 this time. The mechanic reckons it can easy last 10000 K's between services, this seems a long time to me ????

i'm afraid I disagree Flyer. I'm a firm believer in equal opportunity & mutual respect, what the mufti is promoting is the treatment of ALL women as second class citizens.

Sorry, I screwed up on the transformers, I can get a 1000VA (watt) stepdown for $164.
As far as the games go, as long as they ntsc-UC or J, then there is a massive selection (& in english), & the price seems to average at the AUD$55 mark. Surely thats better than paying $100 for local pal titles ????
This is getting all too academic ..... I've yet to receive the unit.... But I will keep you posted....

Step down transformer 65 Watt = $66, 100 Watt = $88. That would bring the total up to, say, $450. Still very cheap.....

I've been told the xbox is on it's way. I'm pretty sure it's a bundled system they sold in the USA. This retailed in the US for USD$750 ~AUD$1000. What I paid makes it a VERY cheap xbox, hopefully there won't be any road rash on the box when it fell off the truck ....
Since this is probably a US system, that would make it NTSC, does that mean it won't work on Australian TV sets?????

WTF ... I took a punt & bought it anyway. Way I look at it, I either do my money ($350) from dealing with spurious inscrutable orientals, or, (& I always was an optimist) I get a really cheap xbox 360.
I can get lots of region free games (if you know where to look). & I can always get the thing chipped to play local games anyway.
So the next question is ... how long does it take to come from beijing ???

I been offered a cheap xbox 360, it comes from China. Are all xbox's the same, I mean, will an american or european xbox work in Australia????. If not, can they be chipped?????
