  1. Hi All

Ive gotta pull my diff out to fix something and i want to relocate the attessa off the top of the diff.  IMO its just makes maintenance a nightmare up there and diff in and out even harder.  Just got to find a suitable spot under the car or in the boot possibly.

Anyone attempted this before, Im aware this will mean new lines etc.

    Many thanks

    HKS 2.8, 6466, holinger on e85 ~740whp

Not a drag car by any means, however wanting to see how far i can push the 6466 before maybe gong 7675 in the future

Wouldn't be a slouch with 740 and hollinger nice one.  I wondering if my hollinger will stand up to the task ahead :ermm:

will post up on suspension after I hit the track..

  3. I struggled to find info on this also, back in the day it was all HKS DRag everyone talked about.  With them now obsolete these days, a mate of mine sourced KSPort coilovers from MVP motorsports in USA with HKS spec internals for his supra.  He never ended up running the car.. I ended up following suit with Myr32 gtr and had them build me a set, my car is only just running now and should be home mid january, in time for some testing then hit the track.  Mine is full weight GTR with 3.2 nitto/hollinger setup.  What you running?

Will let you know how it goes..

  4. Just rang NRMA classic trying to insure my car ive got clean record and 34years old and without even getting into any mods or anything i was told they don't insure 93 model gtr's..  But would insure earlier ones, after i told them the cars are the same from 89-93 they still held fast, it's like were just back pedalling out of it.

So who's everyone using now back to shannons? or famous.  car only does events and probly 200km  per year on road, so thinking i could just insure for fire and theft at agreed value, as car owes well over 100k?  Anyone had any luck with that?

I thought it was 8.5 @ 161mph. Its an auto.

    I believe RH9GTR... now RH7GTR is the fastest...cracked a 7.9 i believe.

Got to hand it to maatouks though. He has an abundance of 8 sec street gtrs....

Lets face it... R32 GTRs are the new VL

Yes but a very expensive VL version! sometimes i wish i would have just built a GTST! Extra billet driveshafts, extra hd diffs, crazy gearbox prices, more weight and hard to launch!  It will be worth it though!

  6. Guys so last time i tried to insure through Shannons I go thte shock of my life at their offer.  My details and cars details:

    34years old clean record

93 R32 GTR with everything, car cost me 33k and I have now spent over 100k on mods.   (hard to say that but it's true.)

Long story short its a 3.2l Nitto with Hollinger, M1 motec set to make upwards of 1250whp. Setup for Drag and eVents, If i went to sell the car at the moment it would probably have 100k tag on it.

Car is registered and clean, only goes to events, and driven once a month only down my residential street to keep everything running.

Whats the best plan of attack getting this thing insured and with who?

    Thanks for any help

  7. JW Automotive or GT AutoGarage?

Guys Im looking for some feedback on where to go with my 32gtr, motor is currently at JHH, will need a shop in 12 weeks to do engine install, fab work, and need someone familiar with tuning M1 Motec and flatshift setups for Hollinger seq.  Wanting a shop familiar with Rb32/26 packages, quick turnaround time and most important best tuner.  Car is 90% drag setup

Ive narrowed down to two Ive heard decent things about.. JW and GT

    Any feedback much appreciated
