    i shall stick to yahoo auctions then!!

    im lucky as i work for an airline and i get cheap flights to japan and have my cousin living in tokyo so free accomodation too!

    therefore i am able to inspect cars before buying or have my cousin check them out for me!

    i have heard that d1exports is dodgy, but wanted to confirm or hear anyone elses stories!

    ive been looking at mitsubishi evo's and nissan skylines on the following site www.japanese-d1cars-export.jp

    has anyone bought or dealt with this company good or bad experience welcomed.

    im looking to import a car for track use only therefore found this site to be ultra handy with selction and price!

    all of your information would be highly regarded.

    id keep the 26...

    not a fan of the 26/30 combo!

    mine made 360rwkw with a 26 build

    forged internals

    drop in tomei cams

    -5 turbos

    power fc injectors and all the usual mods..

    and it was ready for final tune before some F***wit stole it..

    if u want more info pm me for people i used for machining and parts and prices etc etc..

    i built the engine myself...

    not too hard to do if u have an intermediate mechanical mind!

    my 2cents worth

    ohhh and prior to the rebuild - car ran 11.7 on the 1/4mile with turbos, exhaust and screwed in boost!

    so decent build liek what i did keeping the 26, should see it run mid to low 10s and wasnt a pig to drive on the street!

    hey all, after loosing my prized possesion in march, im in the hunt for another r32 gtr!

    im after a very clean example, and something very mild compared to what ive owned.

    will considered slightly modded gtr's, but would prefer a stock one - including airbox.

    as for condition - car must be immaculate with no rust, all door gaps aligned, interior no rips, engine ok - 100%. no leaks or split cv boots, no abnormal noises, gearbox in great condition. car must have wing and stock kit, or nismo n1 side skirts.

    car must have stock bonnet. car musnt have any dents on numerous dings. a few small shopping trolley dings will be considered if paint isnt chipped.

    cheers all...

    well the spare parts place that they believe were involved is located in punchbowl...

    they have been stealing a number of jap imports and selling parts or rebirthing and moving the cars on into another state!

    so all be careful... think my car is long gone now!!! and if so, im done with skylines!!

    time to move on, cut my losses!!

    thanks to all concerned... ive sort of given up hope now! but if anything does come through, more than willing to search!

    thanks to all concerned! car hasnt been found cops seem to think its a spare parts place here in sydney that stole it and moved it on interstate or re-berthed it! cannot prove they stole it, though the told me that they think these blokes are responsible for most skylines being stolen for parts! unfortunately, nothing they can do about it...

    anyways!!! Thanks to everyone concerned!

    hey everyone!

    yeah very sad day for me... and my gf feels responsible... not her fault..

    as for alarm, wasnt wired up, immobiliser was on...

    took full comprehensive insurance off 1month ago as i drive it once a week maybe once every 2weeks!

    yeah was stolen from the driveway at my gf's place in riverwood, im from the hills area myself!

    car was just run in- ready for final tune, hoping to make close to 400rwkw

    if anyone has any info please get in contact with me...

    ive done the sums and its about $48k down the drain to some asshole that probably sells drugs throughout sydney and hasnt worked a day in his life for it...

    assholes... karma is a bitch, hope it comes back to bite these assholes on the arse harder than they could ever imagine!

    and no-one has been to my gf's place to look at the car nor have they been to my place!
